Greetings and bowel of love to you in Jesus Name. I have been a minister since 1971 in the late Benson Idahosa's ministry. I came into Britain in 1993 following the political crisis in Nigeria because of my stands against the demonic regime of Abacha. Following his death all those of us in exile returned back. However, I had gotten my family who escaped with me settled in London. We have an indefinite stay status. While assisting the pastor on the Church on the High Road, an Elm Pentecostal Church, in London, I did set up a Print-shop. The Minuteman Press, 19 High Road, Willesden, London NW10 2TE it's a franchise with the franchisor in America. I am a chartered certified accountant, qualified in 1976. I am also a fellow of the Institute of taxation. I also have an MBA and a PGD in computer science.

We decided to publish our books on the DOWEKNOW website. In this manner it could circle the globe for "whosoever will" to read, critique, appreciate. If we put them into book form, it would be only on the book shelves of bookstores sympathetic to the Christian cause. Unless a person happened to go into a particular store, see a super display or advertisement or we were able to go in person to an author's seminar/signing, it might not ever be shared or read. Can you see how we limit ourselves to areas that our human body can reach. In this manner, we are not bound by distance, distribution, advertising, etc. We feel that God will lead those that He chooses to read our site. We would be greatly honored if you would take some of our teaching and share them in Africa. Or better yet, if they have access to an internet site, share our web address.

A little food for thought regarding the legitimacy of the use of the term "Jewish People."

When asked the question, "Who is Israel? - Who is a Jew?" the Israeli Government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) answered thus: "The term Israelite is purely Biblical. An Israeli is a citizen of Israel, regardless of religion. A Jew is a person anywhere in the world born to a Jewish mother, or converted to Judaism, who is thus identified as a member of the Jewish people and religion. Information Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jerusalem."

Although equating the term "Israelite" with the Bible, (as a throwaway line) they themselves openly admit that the term "Israelite" or "Jew" has nothing whatsoever to do with the Noahatic bloodline. In fact under the heading "A Brief History of the Terms for Jew," in the 1980 Jewish Almanac, is the following incredible admission: "Strictly speaking it is incorrect to call an ancient Israelite a "Jew" or to call a contemporary Jew an Israelite or a Hebrew".

Did you fully comprehend what you just read? A JEW IS NOT TO BE CONSIDERED AN ISRAELITE! And an "Israeli", is one (no matter what his "religious persuasion") who is now living in the literal nation of Israel, and a "Jew" is one who merely follows the Jewish religion. A "Jewish mother" is simply a mother who is identified as a follower of that particular religion. Obviously, anyone can become an "Israeli" by moving to that Palestinian nation, and/or can become a "Jew" simply by CONVERSION to Judaism.

It therefore stands to reason that there can be no such thing as "The Jewish People" as can there be no more a "Mormon People" or a Jehovah's Witness" people. They are simply JEWS, with admittedly NO relation whatsoever to the Biblical people as such.

What Ethnicity is a jew?

The word jew comes from a Greek word meaning descendent of the tribe of Judah, or someone living in the land of Judea. Today's jews call themselves jews to imply that they are descendent of the tribe of Judah…

In truth, modern jews receive much of their racial stock from Turko-Finnish Khazars of the Khazar mountains in southern Russia. They are an Asiatic race with no relationship to Judah or Levi. The holy book of today's jews is not the Torah or even the Old Testament. It is the Talmud which finds it's origin in Babylon. This book, which is commonly called "the tradition of the elders," is a collection of historical writings from respected rabbis. The Talmud teaches that it's teachings supersede that of the Torah. The Talmud teaches that the Virgin Mary, a common prostitute, was impregnated by a Roman soldier during her menstrual cycle which caused evil spirits to inhabit her baby (Kallah 1b). It teaches that Jesus Christ was a demon possessed Satan worshipper who used black magic and trickery (Toldoth Jeschu).

In 70 A.D. a group of Edomites, who were expelled by the Roman empire, wandered east into Khazaria bringing the Talmud with them. In 800 A.D. the Asiatic Khazars were defeated by Christian Knights from Russia. After this defeat, the Khazar king ordered all his subjects to adopt the religion of the Edomite immigrants. The king believed that his weak pagan religion allowed his people to be defeated by the Christians. After this forced conversion, Khazar Jews began immigrating back into Europe. Soon they established a major stronghold in Lithuania and began there obsessive war against Christianity and the Aryan race. A war which continues to wage on today.

What is Kaballism?

Cabalah, Kaballah, Quabalah, and Qabal are all reference of what is commonly referred to as "Jewish Mysticism." Jews believe that the Hebrew Moseretic Version of the Torah was written by God [Tetragammaton] himself, prior to the creation. They believe that when Moses went to the top of Mt. Sinai, God gave him the written Torah as well as oral instructions for Kaballism. The primary written document concerning Kaballism is the Zohar, which is contained in the Jewish Talmud. Kaballah texts are only written, in their original form, in Hebrew so non-jews cannot read them.

Jews believe that King Solomon was the first great Kaballist who developed rituals for controlling Demonic and Angelic forces. Jewish Kaballist believe that there are 33 steps to attaining spiritual perfection. Through disciplined study of Kaballism, jews believe that they may eventually see God and become his intellectual equal. In the jewish Talmud, a famous Kaballistic Rabbi debates God, and God admits the Rabbi has beaten Him (YHWH, GOD). (A highly unlikely scenario, only a jew would have the audacity to think he could outwit YHWH GOD)

Jews also believe that through Kaballism, they can perform the miracles of Jesus Christ. In this fashion, they can themselves become individual Christs (their own Messiahs) through spiritual perfection. "The Jewish people as a whole will be its own Messiah. It will attain world dominion by the dissolution of other races, by the abolition of frontiers, the annihilation of monarchy, and by the establishment of a world republic in which the Jews will everywhere exercise the privilege of citizenship. In this New World Order the children of Israel will furnish all the leaders without encountering opposition. The Governments of the different peoples forming the world republic will fall without difficulty into the hands of the Jews. It will then be possible for the Jewish rulers to abolish private property, and everywhere to make use of the resources of the state. Thus will the promise of the Talmud be fulfilled, in which is said that when the Messianic time is come, the Jews will have all the property of the whole world in their hands." -Baruch Levy, Letter to Karl Marx, 'La Revue de Paris', p.574, June 1, 1928 Note:- Messiah = Christ

Judaism is not the religion of the Bible. "This is not an uncommon impression and one finds it sometimes among Jews as well as Christians -that Judaism is the religion of the Hebrew bible. The Babylonian Talmud, the sole authority of Judaism. "The Talmud derives its authority from the position held by the ancient academies. The teachers of those academies, both of Babylonia and of Palestine, were considered the rightful successors of the older Sanhedrins or the later academies. Therefore, any decision regarding the Jewish religion must be based on the Talmud as the final resume of the teaching of those authorities when they existed." After 70 AD, Judaism was controlled by the Pharisees. "In King Agrippa (41-44 AD) the Pharisees had a supporter and friend, and with the destruction of the Temple the Sadducees disappeared altogether, leaving the regulation of all Jewish affairs in the hands of the Pharisees. Henceforth Jewish life was regulated by the teachings of the Pharisees; the whole history of Judaism was reconstructed from the Pharisaic point of view, and a new aspect was given to the Sanhedrin of the past. A new chain of tradition supplanted the older, priestly tradition. Pharisaism shaped the character of Judaism and the life and thought of the Jew for all the future." Modern day Judaism is the religion of the ancient Pharisees. "Pharisaism became Talmudism, Talmudism became medieval Rabbinism, and medieval Rabbinism became modern Rabbinism. But throughout these changes of name, inevitable adaptation of custom, and adjustment of Law, the spirit of the ancient Pharisee survives unaltered." Judeo-Christian tradition a fantasy. "Judaism is Judaism because it rejects Christianity, and Christianity is Christianity because it rejects Judaism. Judaism sprang forth from Babylon and during the time of Jesus, the Pharisees were the enemy of both Jesus and His followers. If Pharisaism was the source of enmity toward Christianity in the first century, is it surprising that Judaism is the source of hatred toward true Christianity in the present time?

Thanks for taking the time to WRAP with us.

It looks like you've done a lot of research in your quest to determine when to call Abraham's offspring Jew, Hebrew, or Israelite. However, if you've read much on our site, you know that I put no great significance on any of these terms. I try to pattern my use of the terms after the New Testament that seems to use the terms interchangeably with no thought of any spiritual differentiation except when the writer is making a point.

I understand the division of the Hebrew nation into two separate identities after Solomon's reign, the northern division having ten tribes and the southern division having two. I also understand that Jesus referred to these divisions in His teachings, which was necessary since the offspring of Abraham were really boastful of their genealogies. However, as we can deduce from the following Scripture, it would seem that Jesus was more interested in His promises to Jacob (who He re-named Israel and had the nation called after that name) than He was in their divisions and bickerings.

Matthew 10: 5-7
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The following are some examples in the New Testament of when the Old Testament meanings of the words are stressed. Note that in each instance, the writers were either addressing Abraham's offspring or a promise to the same.

Romans 11:1
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Hebrews 8:
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Hebrews 7:
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

Revelation 5:
5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

However, in most instances it is hard to see any particular reason for choosing one term over the other when addressing Abraham's posterity. Check out some of these Scriptures.

Matthew 2:
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

Romans 11:
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

Revelation 7:
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

Acts 6:
1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

Hebrews 8:
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Romans 1:
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

In fact, in Romans 11:26, Paul seemed to be purposely using the two terms without any distinction.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

I know many try to make some spiritual application of the terms, and I am open to such. But so far, no one has enlightened me. Consequently, when you see my use of these terms that speak of the twelve tribes of Israel, I use them interchangeably unless I note otherwise.

A friend of mine goes to a church, that last weekend had a youth seminar. The Seminar was titled: "True Love Waits". Now I think that any intelligent person can get the gist of the seminar just by reading the title. Seems innocent enough, right? Well, now here comes the tricky part.

The people who attended the seminar were told that they were like roses, and that any time that they loved a different person, they would lose a petal off of their rose. Eventually they are going to run out of petals, right?

Well, now my friend believes that if he falls in love too many times before he gets married, that he will be wasting the love that he could be saving for Marriage. He's even afraid to date. His church also insists that he should only date people of his own religion, and that there is no such thing as a soulmate. I was wondering if there was any advice you could give me, that may just help my friend.

Let me lay the foundation for my comments by looking at the normal stages of development that are accepted by the psychological world; for they have their parallel to the stages of development for Christians. The stages are infancy, childhood, latency, buddy (teenage), young adult (mating), and maturity.

The social and psychological problems in today’s world seem to develop in the latency to buddy stages. Although the problems may have roots in the earlier ages, for sure, they manifest in these two stages. It is agreed among those who work with the emotionally unstable that for a person to be emotionally stable and socially successful, each stage must be allowed its normal function. During latency, boys and girls are not too interested in each other sexually. This is a time for sports, hobbies, friends, and finding about ones potential/attributes before springing into the adult years that make great requirements, socially, economically, and physically. Latency means just what it says. A time for the body and mind to "rest" before the hormones start making new changes/demands.

The next stage is the teenage/buddy stage. During this time, a person is to learn the give and take that comes with bonding with those outside the family. This bonding is a forerunner to how well the person can function as an adult. When this buddy stage does not progress into the next stage of "young adulthood/mating," then, we find persons stalemated into gang activity, homosexual mating, and/or rejection of societies mores.

Because we are living at such a fast pace in this century, maybe our problems do not start with the latency or teenage years, but rather, in infancy and childhood. During these years, in the "lap of learning" from the parents and the community, we may find the answer. When we "shock" our children past these stages of normal development, then, emotionally, they are in a "state of shock." If we will just look around us, we can see that we cannot "speed up" these periods of growth as we would force-feed a plant to bloom before its time. The physical, emotional, psychological, and educational growth periods must be allowed to have their times for a person to be "balanced". (Unfortunately, we are learning that in this realm, as with all others, it is not smart to fool with Mother Nature!) This also applies to our spiritual growth. When the parent is not disposed to attend church and the lazy, indifferent churches do not do their job, then, this aspect of our make up is totally left out of a child's life. BUT! BUT! BUT! Isn't that the job of the parents? No! No! No!

(Matthew 19:14)
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Our Lord taught the disciples, and us through them, that the Church (i.e., all who know Christ as Lord and Savior) is responsible for the spiritual welfare of all children, everywhere.

What you are seeing in "true love waits" is an attempt to slow down the "sexual shock" that our children experience. Yet, it is much like "closing the barn door after the cow has gotten out." Children are vicariously shocked past the stages of infancy, young childhood and latency stages with the constant bombardment of television/movies. One might say that TV and movies are just make believe but who knows where reality and fantasy merge and what they produce in a child's mind?

I am not sure what your friend means by "falling in love" several times before marriage.

To open ones heart with tenderness is never bad. Tenderness will not be a selfish, sexual gratification. To just want to gratify a physical urge reduces us from higher order beings to baseness. Some churches take the attitude that if a person can forego sex until becoming young responsible adults, with an education and maturity to start a family, then everything will be fine. This, however, is just not the case. Lying dormant in the mind of each person approaching marriage or married are the many scenarios seen on television and the movies. However, marriage is not walking around with a wineglass in ones hand as portrayed on the soaps. Many times, it requires just putting one foot in front of the other and walking out a particular situation. I often think of the reality of marriage when I see the couples on the TV/movies waking up in the morning and kissing ardently. Sorry! A reality check is a toothbrush.

So, why the emphasis on "True love waits?" The stages of development need to be allowed to run their course. In other words, a person needs to grow up. Can we see evident signs that our society is not "growing up" emotionally? Certainly! Divorce, homosexuality, spousal abuse, welfare roles, violence…all are symptoms of a person in stress which comes about in large part because he/she cannot cope with reality due to interrupted development in one or more of the growth stages. We are a generation filled with the stress that comes from unrealistic goals and expectations. "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things" (1 Corinthians 13:11). But we see a generation that doesn't want to let go of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. And when they do try to move into the grown-up arena, they bring with them unrealistic expectations. In the matters of love and sex, many a man is disappointed because his wife doesn't perform/script like the stars seen in the movies, whether it be regular TV/movies or porn. Same with the wife. She will often want her husband to buy the things her dad did, not fully understanding the dad had many years to establish himself monetarily. GROWTH! I AM TALKING ABOUT A GROWTH PROCESS!

In the modern day world, the choosing of a lifetime mate is left to our five senses. See, smell, feel, taste and hear. What an awesome responsibility to leave to the five senses which are purely physical and emotional responses. Indeed, all the media that we see teaches that this is the way to find out if we are "compatible." In fact persons are encouraged to "try it out" before marriage to see if it is to "their taste." This is why some churches admonish a person to wait or date within their on faith. The Scriptures do say,

2 Corinthians 6:14
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

If you find a mate that has the same beliefs, then, that is one less division. As with all things, this can be carried to extremes.

As to your reference to a Soul-Mate—A person has a body, soul and a Spirit. The body is for world/physical consciousness, the soul is for self-consciousness, and the Spirit is for God consciousness. To choose a mate like the lower animals is conscienceless. So, do you just want to choose a mate from your soul, i.e., your likes/dislikes, goals, personality, intellect, will, etc. This can and does occur. In fact, most marriages today are either from the realm of the body or soul. Perhaps the church is trying to say, "Let the Spiritual part of you have a place in the choice." We do need to be physically attracted (body) and have similar likes/dislikes/goals, etc. (soul), but to leave out prayer and Christ in the marriage choice does seem to be foolish for the Christian. It certainly would not hurt young people or older people to stop and meditate before jumping into a sexual union. SELAH!
