My Dear Brother

Greetings and peace of Lord from Pakistan

I am an evangelist in Pakistan. I earnestly request you that please take me and my ministry to God and please forward me if you get anything to tell me from God.

God bless you and all yours

Brother in Christ

S_________, Evangelist

B'Ann & Don Wrote:

Certainly we do salute you in the Lord and our prayers go to cover you. However, our "cover" does not necessarily include "words from the Lord". We give words of encouragement, and if we received any word for you personally, we would answer in truth and in the fear of the Lord. However, our experience is that the word that we need comes to each of us during or after an intense session of personal Bible study. This word can come in unexpected ways and not as something that we could necessarily plan or think up. If we can think it up in our natural minds, then so can the world system. When anyone takes upon themselves the holy boldness to say that they speak for the Lord; then, another realm of belief is in effect. No longer is a person operating from a basic "sincere milk of the Word" studying stage of the Bible, but there is a transfer to "the meat of the Word"

John 4:32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of...
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work...
John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

1Cor. 3:
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto
spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in
Christ.
2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto
ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.
3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas [there is] among you
envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and
walk as men?

Heb. 5:14
But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

This brings me to what I want to share. When we were introduced to the Charismatic circle of worship, we did notice that many came forward for a word, a confirmation, an edification from the minister, which in effect caused the minister to come under a heavy load/pressure from the body of Christ. We watched the press of people that came forward to receive a "word." Those that believed the word to be a direct word from God, set about a path that caused this word to happen or manifest itself. Others that just wanted the "gift" or a word and not the "Giver," which is Christ, have gone on the swell the followings of the fortune telling, money making media groups. This alarmed me greatly. Stay with me here while I explain.

All "born-again" believers have the same Holy Spirit/Christ and if a person has not grown in the Lord enough to "receive and unction" personally, then there is great danger if they act out a message received from a third party. If a person is ready to do a task for the Lord, spiritually fed by the Word, then the next step in their own personal process would be a direct call: i.e., a one-on-one call/impression from God. This would be individual and no one could ever persuade that individual that the call did not come from God.

What can we say to new, born-again Christians? We can always safely prophesy, "Thus saith the Lord, you are to share your conversion experience with those around you." Indeed, this was the first thing that the Apostle Paul was allowed to do before he was sent to the Christians or did a deep study of the Word. In fact, before he was allowed to "speak for the Lord," he was taken apart into the desert for personal revelation for the Lord Jesus Himself.

Gal 1:15-19
But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called [me] by his grace,
6 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among
the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and
blood:
17 Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were
apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned
again unto Damascus.
18 Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see
Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.
19 But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the
Lord's brother.

Why was Paul "taken apart" for his study? So that the traditions and customs of man would not dilute the pure message he had to give. After he went apart, and received his commission, then we find him coming back with earth shaking messages, heavenly wisdom, and a totally, committed life.

What can we prophesy to this world? Our prophecy must parallel the Great Commission. Here is a list of "safe" prophecies.

1). To the babes in Christ, simply a word of encouragement to share their conversion.

2). Another prophecy that can safely be given is "Study to show thyself approved, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed."

3). Along with our prophecy should come a warning about "rightly dividing the truth."

4). Then the prophesy to "forsake not the assembling of yourselves together" needs to be given. This should be given with the admonition of going two-by-two, so that what we do can be discussed with an older person in the Lord, and in this manner a babe-in-Christ will not be overcome and do something "dumb."

5). Another prophecy that is very necessary is to "respect the elders" in the Church. If a person manifests utter disrespect for older people in Christ, then, this rebellious spirit will create a rebellious following. You might say, "But what if the elders are wrong?" Then do a series of Bible teachings about this area of error. No personal attacks, just teach the Word. Will they change? Some will, some will not. Then you take the ones that do not rebel at the teaching from the Bible, and go forward with them as your strong support. Do not attack the elder. You attack ideology, never individuals. If you attack good old Uncle Henry that has been in the church for years, a spirit of fight will prevail and you will lose.

6). Not last, but very important is "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and Its righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you". This is when those under your watch care are getting ready to establish a personal, adult walk with God. They are no longer "babes" that need to be carried/fed by the minister's faith. They will no longer need the minister as they once did, thus freeing him/her to nurture more new Christians. There is nothing more frustrating than having a church full of "babes." They will act like babies, only concerned with their own needs, which is perfectly natural for a baby. That is why ministers must help their flock grow up. There can be no outreach if the preacher has to constantly take care of a nursery full of milk-fed babies.

Now if we look at #6, we can see the pivot point of the whole Christian walk. If the believer has matured as a Christian and seeks the Lord and His righteousness, then he/she will start receiving the promises needed for their own personal walk. Then we can say as Paul did, "And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:" (1Cr 2:4). It is wonderful to have someone say, "Thus saith the Lord you will get a new van, a large sum of money, a beautiful home, etc. But this prophecy should come all intermingled, entwined, connected with the primary call of the Great Commission. If the "cart is before the horse", Christians will put their efforts into getting the van, the sum of money, the beautiful home rather than putting their efforts into answering the Commission.

A spiritual walk/journey with the Lord is just that…a stroll along the path He has laid out for us. The things needed for the particular call will be strewn along the path of that walk. It will not be all "piled" at the beginning of the path because the carrying of all of this stuff would be overwhelming. If we were given a lot of "things" up front in our walk, the temptation would be to act like these fellows. "And they all with one [consent] began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused" (Luke 14:18-19). The things we need will come when needed, dropped when no longer needed, replaced if needed again. This could be compared to the Westward Expansion in the United States. Those that loaded their wagons with belongings, which they considered necessary and very precious, often found the trip very difficult if not impossible because the horses/oxen and the wagon could not carry such a load. The trail to the west was littered with "precious" belongings had to be dumped somewhere along the trail if the journey was to be finished.

Luke 14:26-30
If any [man] come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have [sufficient] to finish [it]? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish [it], all that behold [it] begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

How much better it would have been for the pioneers if they had left their belongings behind to equip some pitiful parsonage, some poor family, sold them for money for the trip, or just realized that as they went forward there would be new memories made, new things to become precious. Our memorabilia does change as the years go by.

In the U.S., I find that the Great Commission is not "prophesied" in many of today's churches. Too many got caught up in the prosperity message and started seeking the "gifts" and not the giver. This message starts from the body comforts and supposedly travels to the Spirit. The message must originate in the Spirit, travel out through the Soul and ultimately manifest itself through our means of communication with the world: the Body.

When you build a ministry, you are working on a spiritual building with all the pieces fitted together, jointly. Ahhh! Herein lies your patience. Remember not to build upon sand, to put in the "corner stone" so that the building will be "plumb," to put down the correct foundation of the Word, to build the walls with good stones and mortar, and to let God be the "cover" or roof. To be human is to err, and if we do not build to God's specifications, we will see our work fall/crumble and we will have to start over again on that weak spot. Such frustration! If we do not find out why there is a weak spot in the wall, for example, we will find ourselves being stopped at that point of the building and never proceeding to the next step. (Sometimes the weak spot is others and we have to step around them and take another path.) Our prayer is that your work will stand the test of time, that it will remain in the people that it is to establish unto every good work, and that the pressures of being near Israel's and Ishmael's divided children will not hinder your effort.

Yours in Christ,

Don & B'Ann

Question-Comment: I've just found your sight and am interested in the Revelation series but I'm wondering if it goes beyond chapter 12 to the end of the book?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

DON WROTE:

Hello P_________,

Thanks for your interest in our site. Apparently you haven't checked out our WRAP AROUND feature or you would have seen that I have already addressed your question in previous WRAPs. (Our WRAP's go back a year or so, but we've chosen to leave them up because they are of some substance and because they are new to our new visitors. You'll probably find something that is of interest if you check them out.) To answer your question, our study of the Book of Revelation is being taken from a complete set of notes on the book that fell into my spirit just after we wrote our book The Clock of the Ages. And yes, it is our intention to put all of them up on the web. However, because we have to work to support our family and our ministry, we have only so much time to devote to this effort. Also, as we attempt to put the notes up on the web, we keep getting additional understanding and find ourselves going back and revising/adding to what we already have up. In addition, as anyone will tell you who has experience in building web sites, our site is massive by most standards; and it takes much time to build and to maintain such a site. Our ministry has always been a "faith ministry" in that believers have always supported it; but this endeavor is non-denominational and independent and, consequently, it has no "source" on which to draw. To date, the LORD has not seen fit to call anyone to stand with us, but we still have the call to answer; and we will answer it as best we can. If it is a blessing to you, then keep checking back, and God willing, it will finally be finished.

Your servants in Christ,

Don & B'Ann Love

Question-Comment: I enjoyed your webpage and found it informative, but was hoping to maybe hear someone else's take on what is going on in today's headlines as they relate to Revelations; Clinton's push toward a "New World Order", gun control... You may want to consider reading some of the more popular books on this subject such as "Behold a Pale Horse" by William Cooper and give us your opinion on such ideas that others have. Thank you for your time.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

DON WROTE:

Hello ?

I'm sorry that I won't be able to comment on the book that you mentioned for I can't find it in any of the bookstores. However, I will address your comment about the "New World Order." We can spend our time worrying about this or we can fulfill what God has called us to do: i.e., to establish His kingdom through soul winning. His "New World Order" came into effect with the birth of His Church at Pentecost. It is a "kingdom in a mystery" and no man on earth will ever rule it. Its citizens are the born-again believers and it is called to be the salt of the earth and the light to the world.

We are missing the whole point here. On the political scene it is a well-known fact that any group/faction/cult that reaches acceptance by 15% of any population has political clout. So, if we find our churches not having any impact, can we assume that we are accepted by less than 15% of the population? If we want to impact the new order of the world, then we must increase. If not in number, at least in the number willing to stand for Bible truths. In the natural order of things, a company without salesmen to promote its product, is destined to disappear. So it is with the Church, if no one answers the Great Commission, will it not die on the Vine?

And by the way, when looking for information about the book on line, I came across a song which some of our visitors might find to be interesting.

THE PALE HORSE AND HIS RIDER

Recorded by Hank Williams, Sr. (with Audrey Williams)
Words and music by Johnny Bailes, Ervin Staggs, Zeke Clements and Muriel Deason Wright (aka Kitty Wells)

Listen poor sinner; you're driftin' away
From the Dear Saviour; who's pleading to- day
What will you do; when the Saviour ain't nigh
When the Pale Horse and his rider goes by?

The time now ain't long; when the Saviour will come
Then you'll be judged; by the deeds you have done
On that judgement day; you'll weep and you'll cry
When the Pale Horse and his rider goes by?

When that trumpet sounds; on the sinners below
Not even the angels; in heaven will know
Then's when you'll wish; you had Jesus nigh
When the Pale Horse and his rider goes by?

Won't you redeem; your poor wicked soul
You can't pay your way; with Silver and Gold
If you're not saved; you'll be lost in the night
When the Pale Horse and his rider goes by?

DOLLY WROTE:

Question-Comment: who are the descendents of the twelve tribes of Israel?

DON WROTE:

Hello Dolly:

I honestly don't know other than they are of the seed of Abraham through Isaac, and it would be my opinion that they have been so dispersed and intermarried/intermingled with the Gentiles that only God knows the answer to your question. However, if you'd like to see my comments on some of the controversy around Abraham's descendants, go to our JANUARY 2000 #3 WRAP AROUNDs and read our comments to Ray.

Thanks for WRAPPING with us.

T_______ WROTE:

Christ is back!

Greetings

Christ is back! You must have missed his "thief" like return. Anyway, you have probably been looking in the wrong direction.

UP is wrong! Please search the scriptures again. What is the direction that the Lord will come during the final days? Check the Old and New Testaments for answer, Now!

Don't you understand the difference between the "Son of God" and the "Son of Man"? What was the term that Jesus use to refer himself as of his second coming? Did you not get it? Look in the Revelation 12, isn't it simple enough? This is not the past Virgin birth and definitely not Israel.

The fifth trumpet is the "Kuwait oil well being burnt", the sixth is the "Gulf War", the seventh sealed thunder is the "bible code".

1995 was the END (Michael Drosnin), but was delayed. Revelation 10, the angel swore there will be no more delay. The seven-year period 5760-5766.(Israel retreat from Lebanon), "the trampling of the holy city by gentiles for 42 months." The climax of the two witnesses 5766. The fall of "Babylon" and the appearance of the Messiah AD 2014.

With the discovery of the bible code, the mystery of God is accomplished. Daniel 12:10 "None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand" "Many will be made spotless and refined". Unlike the Book of Revelation which is not seal, the code need wisdom and understanding. If you do not trust my testimonial, trust the Word of God which is the truth, the bible code is the Word of God. The only way for you to recognize the true identity of the messiah is the code.

Understand this the arrival of Christ is like a thief, his chosen will recognize him. The dramatic "rapture" is the process of final separation. Recognizing Christ at that time might be too late, since all will know and see him then. I urge you do not be like those Jews 2000 years ago!

With questions such as the above, I will lead you to him. But you have to carry your own cross, I cannot carry it for you. You have to reread the scriptures and research the code yourself. I can only guide you. Nobody can made you "recognize" Christ, only the Father (John 6:65). Believe me my testimonial is true, though is not yet complete. Your prove will not come from me, but the Word of the Father. Only and only HIS will be done!

B'ANN WROTE:

If He has already returned like a "thief", then a whole bunch of us have missed the Rapture!!!

As we read the Scripture, the first time He returns He will not touch down. ("Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" 1Th. 4:17.) Perhaps you are referring to His return during the Grace Age. ("To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Col 1:27) We will never recognize Christ with our "natural eyes". This will only be done by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. In fact, we are not to worry about recognizing Him. He does not leave this "awesome" task to us for He knew there would be false christs. In fact, Jesus left these comforting words for His Church: "I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of mine. As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd." John 10:14-16.

I never worry about not getting a "great" revelation such as a "code." Christ said that He would call us to a work, and that we would be empowered to accomplish that work. If we all were engaged in the "breaking of codes" then there would be no one to do the Great Commission. If you have received a special code/understanding; then, this should be "screened" through Christ last commandment. (And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned" Mark 16:15-16.) If this code knowledge puts you on fire for winning souls then it will stand the test of commission— and of time. The Great Commission commandments tests all other commandments given throughout the Bible.

This is one of the reasons that we wrote DOWEKNOW. We want the church world to read the writings, validate or reject them, and put their reasons for doing so in our WRAPS. We will (examine) and prayerfully consider any understanding that people think they have been given.

However, be advised that when anything is written, we will use the Great Commission as our "screening tool." Let me ask you, do you think that your "code" is based on "soul winning"?

DONNA WROTE:

HELLO .... AND MAY THE LORD BE WELL WITH THEE...I FOUND THIS WEBB PAGE OF YOURS AND THOUGHT IT TO BE INTERESTING!

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT THE FOUNDATION THIS TRUTH IS BUILD ON AND WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL BELEIFS.......

IN HIM.......Donna

DON & B'ANN WROTE:

The foundation we build our site upon is THE WORD OF GOD, our intent is a search for the truth. The Scriptures give this commandment/promise.

Luke 11:9-10
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

We are familiar with names associated with the Bible such as King James (and his Version of the Bible), Scofield, Thompson, and Dake (with their study Bible), etc. And most everyone has heard of such "mover and shakers" on the religious scene such as Martin Luther, John Wesley, Billy Sunday, and Billy Graham, etc. All these men felt that they had a special truth to give to the church. The church world would read/hear their ideas and then validate or reject their teachings. This is good for we are told not to believe every spirit.

I John 4:1.
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world"

However, to stop with their work and say that no more contributions/understandings can be given to the Church would be foolishness. Certainly, mankind knows very little in comparison to the span of time that has already gone past. We feel that there is much more to know about the Scriptures. We feel that we have a call to publish what we think we know on the web and let the church world accept or reject these revelations.

One thing WE-DO-KNOW without too much searching is that the church world is not meeting the needs of the general population. In the past two or three generations, many social barriers have come down and the code of right and wrong has undergone drastic changes, but wisdom dictates that we stop and consider the statistics produced by these changes. There is more collective misery in the world than ever; yet at the same time, we have increased our knowledge in every aspect of our lives.

However, as knowledge has increased in the secular world, the religious world has seen a great number of paperback publication, but with little positive impact on the world. DOWEKNOW but that we haven't diluted down the Word of God with the "traditions/intellect of man" to the point that it is virtually ineffective? There is nothing more disgusting than a watered-down, stale soda pop that has lost its "fizz." I submit that there is nothing more disgusting than a watered down church that has lost its "bubbly." The Scriptures do teach that, "Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men" Mat 5:13.

Furthermore, we can look into the past and see many examples of "omission" that could have made life much easier if people had diligently studied the Scriptures. From our vantage point in the 21st century, it is hard to believe that people did not understand the things that we take for granted today. A case in point is childbirth. I often cringe when I think of the multitude of women and babies that died because the rudimentary, basic laws of cleanliness were not observed. We place men such as Pasteur, Jenner, and Lister on a high pedestal because they discovered germs and sterilization of medical materials. And certainly we are glad they gave us antiseptics that shorten the period of infections. But the basic teaching was always there in the laws of cleanliness in Leviticus. The doctors should have read this and figured out that they needed to wash their hands as they moved from patient to patient.

Lev 15:11-12
And whomsoever he toucheth that hath the issue, and hath not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even.
And the vessel of earth, that he toucheth which hath the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.

Lev 15:21-23
And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even.
And whosoever toucheth any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even.
And if it [be] on [her] bed, or on any thing whereon she sitteth, when he toucheth it, he shall be unclean until the even.
And he that toucheth the flesh of him that hath the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe [himself] in water, and be unclean until the even.

The Dark Ages were very dark because the church had the scriptures written in a language that the general population could not read. Only the priest had the Bible and it was read to the populace in Latin keeping the average person in the dark. With the invention of the Gutenberg press, the Holy Scriptures began to be printed for the people to read and gradually man moved into the Renaissance. But did all knowledge and understanding come with the Renaissance? No! Every generation has its impact on the world and its truths to share. And every generation has more to learn and it should build its understanding on the whole counsel of the Word of God. This we have tried to do.

As to our personal beliefs, we are commanded to never present/teach the Bible in a doubtful manner. We have certainly not intended to do this with any of our writings. We are very positive that Christ will honor all His promises. We are also very positive that the church world needs to say, "DOWEKNOW everything?" If by your question, you want us to declare what denomination we belong to, then let me answer by simply saying: we belong to the Body of Christ; and we can worship in all fundamental churches. We say this because we are convinced that there are born-again believers in every denomination (division) of the Body of Christ.
