TO OUR CYBER-VISITORS:

Let me share with you a word that the Lord has laid on my heart.

Back when our legislators where busy removing prayer, the Bible, and finally–any mention of Jesus from our public government facilities, primarily from the public schools, the Lord gave B'Ann an analogy. The word she received was that just as nature will not tolerate a vacuum, neither will the spiritual realm–that just as something will rush in to fill a vacuum in the natural, so will spiritual darkness rush in when the "light from heaven" is removed!

It has been some fifty years now since B'Ann received that word, and the United States has seen it come to pass. In addition, as those with eyes to see have observed, that spiritual darkness has grown even darker with each succeeding generation–and that it has fallen upon all facets of our nation! Politicians have become greedy and self-serving–speaking of the virtues of public service only until they are elected! The leaders in our monetary systems have hidden behind the trust that those before them deserved, only to steal trillions of dollars from those who trusted them! Our industries that we supported and were so proud of have taken our manufacturing know-how overseas and built new factories using cheaper labor–closing many of our largest plants in the process and creating a crisis of unemployment here at home. (Out of greed they have torn the fabric of our society. In addition, they have replaced the quality merchandise we had grown to expect with products that do not hold up and are not satisfactory!) In fact, I cannot think of any aspect of our society that has not been affected!!!

However, back to the vacuum created when our elected officials removed any mentioning of the Bible and Christ from government funded institutions such as the public schools, parks, and public buildings–even though it was to the dismay of a vast majority of our citizens. Voices were raised back in the 60s when this first happened to our nation by way of occasional marches and church rallies led by men such as Billy Graham. Voices are being raised again, not with just occasional meetings, but daily on some of our talk shows. It didn't seem to help back in the 60s, but perhaps with daily reminders, the Christians of the world will wake up. Our present dilemma brings to mind another time in recent history when a nation's public facilities were as void of any Biblical influence: i.e., Hitler's Germany. History teaches us that Hitler took advantage of this vacuum in his nation's schools by going directly to the schools and appealing to the youth–inflating their young egos and indoctrinating many of them to his will! These were the youth that grew up to become members of his Gestapo and his young army, eager to do his murderous bidding. Doesn't history teach us that if we cannot learn the lessons that it teaches, we are doomed to repeat them? It is common knowledge that North Korea and the many Muslim nations are indoctrinating their children. In addition, today's oppressive rogue dictatorships such as Venezuela's Hugo Chavez, for example, are using Hitler's approach with the youth and media of their nations. I know that like the rest of the world, America is under judgment for all the evil that she has embraced; but it is still my prayer that God will have mercy on our children!

Church, things are falling apart all around us; but if we're not careful, we will lose sight of the real problem! It is not crooked politicians and dishonest investors that are the reason for today's chaos; it is our abandoning the Love of God for the things the world has to offeror our just putting His will on the back burner!!! Think on it. The only thing that God will hear from the lost is the sinner's prayer: "Lord, have mercy on me a sinner." Only you and I have the ear of God and if there is to be any spiritual light in this world, it is up to you and I to let our lights shine. We must remember that God did not say, "Go ye public schools, institutions, governments, etc."; but rather it was "go ye (believers) into all the world." Herein lies the problem and the answer. How powerful does a light have to be to dispel darkness? How powerful is JESUS, the LIGHT OF THE WORLD--the JESUS that abides within you and I? Conclusion: We consider any religious beliefto be in darkness that does not have Jesus, the Son of God, as its light; yet we Christians have been hiding our light under a bushel. Why????

Matthew 5: 16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Rom 8:9-11
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ [be] in you, the body [is] dead because of sin; but the Spirit [is] life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

If God would hear this pray of Abraham's descendants, surely He will hear us if we do as He commanded them and pray for our nation and its children!!!

II Chronicles 7:
13: If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Dear Brother Masih:

We must be busy as never before. Christians are becoming fewer and fewer while other religions are proselyting greater numbers. The fields are "white unto harvest" and satan is busy converting people to cultural teachings that do not profess Christ as the One and Only Savior of the world. It warms our hearts to know that you are busy evangelizing lost souls. This should be the only focus of any ministry that names the name of Christ. Jesus does command that we do the following:

I know that we need money/funds to live; but, Jesus promises the following provisions for these needs.

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We had a young lady from Pakistan that wrote to us about money. Our reply was the verse above. It costs us nothing to walk the neighborhood telling individuals about Jesus. Christian ministry is like a pebble that is dropped into water. It starts making circles that get larger and larger, the ripple effect if you please. The first place that stone drops is in the individuals life. The next circle is the home. We must witness to those in our household, whether they accept Christ or not, before we can move to the next circle which is the neighborhood. The next circle is the town, then the surrounding countryside. If we faithfully work each concentric zone, the group will get larger as each circle it added; then, there should be a vast number of people added to the Kingdom. Just think how organized the witnessing would be if we drew these circles on a map of our home area, or church area, and started walking and witnessing to everyone within the circles. This idea makes me very excited. I hope the drop of water illustration comes through for you.

These new converts should be taught stewardship of using ones time, resources, and money wisely. Hopefully through tithes and offerings, your financial burden should become less and less. This all comes about because we are willing to seek the Kingdom of God, and then let Him add to us our needs, not wants. Too often we think we want to be like the mega-ministries on TV; however, this might possibly be an imitation of something that looks successful. We must receive our own unique calling lest we fall into the snare of the greatest imitator of all times, Satan. He tried to imitate Christ and this caused great discord. Also, these ministries have to spend most of their time collecting money to pay the vast cost for such an endeavor. I have no desire to imitate any ministry on earth. I want to follow Christ, not be an imitator.

Have you set up a website similar to ours??? There needs to be one just for soul-winning. It should be very simple with John 16 as the core. Then, there needs to be a response page, similar to My Space.com where people can profess Christ before the world, share their testimony, or ask for prayer. Perhaps it could be called My Acceptance of Jesus.Com. Sounds good, doesn't it. You can reach so many people in this manner without burdensome expenditures.

We must sow the seeds of faith. Hopefully we will have a more modern means of transportation than the oxcart shown in the illustration below; however, whether we walk, ride or fly, the message is the same. The person in this oxcart made plans to have many sacks of seeds. May we be like minded. The scripture at the end applies to our personal lives whether it be witnessing, stewardship of lands or possessions, and money. My God richly bless you is our prayer.

II Corinthians 9:6:
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
