PROPHECY: BIBLE PROPHECY-DoWeKnow studies BIBLE PROPHECY by looking at Old Testament Prophecy and New Testament Prophecy-seeing how they relate to today's churches and seeing how many of today's churches are fast fulfilling those Biblical prophecies, especially the prophecies concerning the end-time apostate churches.

B.R.H. WROTE:

Question-Comment: from what God showed me in visions, ther will be a nuclear exchange btween

iraq and israel when the wr restarts.

TO OUR VISITORS:

B.R.H. has a web site where he records his dreams.  I went to his site and found four pages of dreams that he says he has had.  However, before I begin my comments, let's lay a fast foundation for our observations of dreams.  Firstly, most will probably agree that all dreams are not divinely inspired.  I'm not sure just how much a late snack of spicy foods might have to do with what with what we dream; but I am satisfied that deep seated concerns, upsetting experiences, or vivid scenes of a gross or upsetting nature do play a part.  However, the Bible does have much to say about dreams.

The Scriptures show that God often spoke to men and women through dreams.  For example, concerning His servant Jacob we read:

Genesis 31:11
And the angel of God spake unto me in a dream, saying, Jacob: And I said, Here am I.

Genesis 31:24
And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed
that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

Also, God used dreams to raise the young Hebrew lad Joseph to earthly power.

When but a youngster, Joseph was given a dream by God indicating that his father, mother, and eleven brothers would one day fall to his feet in obeisance. At first, Joseph's dreams seemed to only get him into trouble.

Genesis 37:10
And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?
Genesis 37:19-20
And they
[his brothers] said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.
Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

Joseph's older brother Reuben had mercy on him and talked his other brothers into selling Joseph to approaching slave merchants which eventually sold him in Egypt.  As time went by, the slave Joseph found himself thrown into prison because of the lies of his master's wife.  However, what men meant for evil, God meant for good. While Joseph was in prison, Egypt's Pharaoh became dissatisfied with his chief butler and his baker and threw them into the same prison.   They both had dreams and Joseph interpreted the dreams for them, telling the baker that his head would be cut off and the butler that he would be restored to his original position.  The dreams came to pass.  Then one day, the Pharaoh had a dream that bothered him so that he couldn't sleep but none of his magicians could give him the interpretation.  The butler remembered Joseph and told the Pharaoh that Joseph could interpret the dream.  Joseph was brought from prison whereupon he gave the Pharaoh the interpretation. The Pharaoh, perceiving that the power of God rested upon Joseph, made Joseph ruler over Egypt, the most powerful nation of this day, making Joseph second only to the Pharaoh himself.  God also used dreams to raise the Prophet Daniel to power. (See the Book of Daniel.)  In fact the Old Testament is filled with incidents of God using dreams to deal with His prophets and His people.

However, we can think of times in the Old Testament when dreams were not of God. For example:

Jeremiah 23:
25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.
29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

As we can see in Acts 2:17, dreams did not cease with the Old Testament.  (This was prophesied in the O.T. See Joel 2:28)

Acts 2:17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

However, the New Testament also has it bad dreamers.

3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.

Now, using what we've just written as a backdrop, let's consider some of B.R.H.'s dreams.

DON WROTE:

In the following dream, you say you are told that "…it is past the midnight hour."

Ministry of dreams is trying to reach God’s people and the lost in these last days. Most of these visions were received between the summer of 97 to present.

Vision 1

On July 11, 2002, I asked God to help me with this web site, and while I was praying, I saw Jesus and he said, tell my people to pray.

I asked God where we were in time. In my vision, I was in bed with a man and a girl, the girl hopped up and was running thru the house yelling, its past the midnight hour, its past the midnight hour. I was trying to comfort her unsuccessfully.

This needs to be examined in light of the Scriptures. If you will look at Matthew 25:1-13, you will see that at the Midnight Hour, (i.e., just prior to it) the cry will come that Jesus is just before coming to take His Bride, the Church, out of the world--the event the church calls the Rapture. You need also to consider that the "Midnight Hour" will be the third of Israel’s prophetic night watches. (See Booklet Seven, Chapter 28 of our on-line book THE CLOCK OF THE AGES.) Now if the "midnight hour is already past," then the world has already entered into a delusion that comes with the of the Day of God’s Wrath and Judgment (See II Thes. 2:11.); for the Rapture will have already happened and the Holy Spirit will have been removed from the earth; and the earth will have already entered into the "utter lawlessness that mankind can put upon one another"! Is this what you are broadcasting to the world??? You say you are "…trying to reach God’s people and the lost in these last days." Why are you trying to reach them??? What do you have to say to them??? Surely you are  not sending a message of hope, for if the Rapture is past, then those of us left on the earth missed it and we’re all in trouble! But this is obviously not the case. I noticed that most of your dreams and visions are filled with dire events happening in the U.S. I am thinking of Nineveh. They were warned and repented. Is this what you are trying to convey in your dreams?

I also noticed that your prayer, which seemed to have triggered all of your dreams and visions, was an inquiry as to where we are in the end times. Evidently you feel that your dreams are trying to give you a "timeline" in the Spiritual arena. Let’s look at some Scriptures having to do with the time of the end.

Matthew 24:36

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as [do] others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Nowhere in the Scriptures do we find Jesus asking us to pray about when things will take place on God’s Prophetic Timeline. However, the Bible does command us to pray for the lost, to pray to the Lord of the Harvest that He would send workers into the harvest, and to pray for one another that we would have boldness to tell others of the reason for the hope within us. Also, we are admonished to minister to one another and to build one another up in the faith.

Vision 8
Get ready now for this event, while you have time. I asked God for many years to show me who
the beast is going to be.
In the first vision, I saw the pope and he said, I am GOD. I said to God, if that was from you, then
let me have it again. In the second vision, I saw the pope and reached out to him and save me. He
nodded, yes. In this vision, I actually believed he could save me, I was sent that strong delusion
they will be sent and believed a lie, and it took a long time to shake it off afterwards. In the third
vision I saw the pope, and light was coining from his white beanie that was very bright. In the
fourth vision I saw Jesus and then I saw the pope. This was Christ and the anti-christ. This was a
rebuilt John Paul. He was strong and stout and very tough looking.

From this vision it appears that you have been impressed by the writings of "fringe" theologians who have set themselves up as prophecy experts, who are attempting to identify and name the "beast" and the "anti-christ" even thought the Bible declares that the man of sin will not be revealed until after the Spirit is "taken up" with the Church at the time of the Rapture.

Vision 6
In this vision I saw written on a yellow piece of paper, Give them warning from me. America is the woman, whore, Mystery Babylon in Revelation 17 and 18. Also the Babylon in Isaiah 13, 21, 47, and Jeremiah 51 6-15 and judgment is coming to this country.

I challenge anyone to show me the Scripture that identifies the US as Mysterious Babylon the Great.  It's just not there.  Again, it appears you have been reading the ideas of others rather than reading the Bible.  The Bible tells us to study the Word to show ourselves approved unto God, not to study the words of those who are on unbalanced tangents.  This is a good place to bring my part of this WRAP to a close, and let me do so by quoting an important command from the Bible.

II Timothy 2:
14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

(By the way, for the season that lies ahead, B'Ann and I pray that you and all of our visitors might know the HOPE, PEACE and JOY that the Lord desires to give during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.)

B'ANN WROTE:

Too often when we have this type of unrest and fear within ourselves, we immediately assume it is for someone else. We start sounding like Chicken Little from the children’s story in which she went around screaming, "The sky is falling…" It wasn’t falling, it was just an acorn that had fallen on her own head. These seeds of concern and fear are in your head and they are obviously being manifested in your dreams.  I noticed that several of your dreams dealt with the fear of a  nuclear war in the U.S.  I refer in particular to this dream you posted on the web.

Vision 7

In this vision, I was praying in the basement of my home. All of a sudden I heard an explosion and saw flashing thru the basement windows. I was running up the stairs and in my heart, I did not feel I was ready. Then vision ended.

This brings to mind a true story that a minister friend told when trying to get people to examine what they receive in dreams and visions. While traveling from up North, he became very tired and pulled into a truck stop somewhere in Georgia to sleep. He was in a car, so he just stayed behind the wheel, leaned his head back, and fell into a deep sleep. Sometime later, a semi-truck quite noisily pulled head on in front of him to park for the night, also. The preacher was startled out of a deep sleep and awakened to see a semi coming at him. Assuming that he had fallen asleep at the wheel, he began to loudly beseech God to save him from this horrible head on collision. The truck driver turned off his motor and in the quietness of the night, the minister realized that he had seen the whole situation in a cloud of fear. It had been an illusion.

Now, anyone that is a citizen of the United States, saint or sinner, does not need a dream to tell them that we are on the brink of something. And if that is the case, of what are you trying to warn them??? Are you recommending that they build bomb shelters, find a designated shelter, or just give up and feel futile??? You say that God wants you to warn people. Warn them of what??? The situations that you are describing in your dreams have no earthly solution. People will not have time to find a bomb shelter. So what do you want them to do???.

Apparently, you have decided that God intends for you to be His spokesman. Whether a spokesman be real or false has to be determined by looking at the Scriptures. The Bible gives guidelines for any person that steps up to speak for God. Consider the following Scriptures.

Psalms 26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

2 Corinthians 13:5-11
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates.
Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.
For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, [even] your perfection.
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

I kept looking for a way of HOPE in your writings and I found virtually none.   That HOPE is JOHN 3:16.  Jesus always gave a way of escape when He spoke whether it was by prophets, in person, or in dreams.  I find only futility in your dreams.  I do not feel that Jesus has forsaken me nor any that I love.  However, I know that we could be on the brink of something that makes WWII look like child's play.   May we all repent and beg God to have mercy upon us.  And may we continually look upon God for He is infinitely greater than anything that mankind may inflict upon the world.

Subject: Columbine High School

Guess our national leaders didn't expect this, hmm? On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the   Columbine High  School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address  the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national   leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful. They were not prepared for what he had to say, nor was it received well.

It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert!

These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness. The following is a portion of the transcript:

"Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers."

"The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart."

"In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun.  I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent."

"I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy-it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room.  Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves.

"I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. This was written way before I knew I would be speaking here today":

Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air.
You've stripped away our heritage, You've outlawed simple prayer.
Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die.
You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question "Why?"
You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed.
And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need!

"Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, soul, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make- up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc.   Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation ?

We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs - politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws.

"Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors.  No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre.  The real villain lies within our own hearts. Political posturing and restrictive legislation are not the answers. The young people of our nation hold the key. There is a spiritual awakening taking place that will not be squelched! We do not need more religion. We do not need more gaudy television evangelists spewing out verbal religious garbage. We do not need more million dollar church buildings built while people with basic needs are being ignored.

We do need a change of heart and a humble acknowledgment that this nation was founded on the principle of simple trust in God!" "As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes-He did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America, and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him.

To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA - I give to you a sincere challenge. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone!

My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!"

Do what the media did not - - let the nation hear this man's speech.

Please send this out to everyone you can!!!

Question-Comment: i don't agree with u at all that all other religion has to be below christianity

Christianity is the only religion with the claim that its founder is deity that has made any impact on the world.this is totally false The sikh gurus Guru Arjun dev ji and Guru teg bahudur layed their lives for hindus.. Please don't give false . Also christ very existence is in question and never been proved until now .. but everything regarding sikh gurus is evident and proved

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Don Wrote:

I think that history/reality bears out my statement.  Just because I want something to be true or say that something is true does not make it so.  If it is so only in my mind then it is not so.  As to Guru Arjun dev ji and Guru teg bahudur claiming to be deity, I find that no where in my studies.  But the Bible states explicitly that Jesus Christ was God incarnate in the flesh, being born of a virgin, His seed being placed into the virgin girl Mary by the blessed Holy Spirit of God.  As to His existence being in question, it has never been in question in the English speaking realm--in fact, for the English calendar (and if I'm not mistaken, for most Spanish calendars), time stopped and started again with Christ: i.e., B.C and A.D..  True, there are English speaking people  who want nothing to do with Him or His claim on their life as their Creator and Savior.  (This could apply to people of any language who have heard of Him but rejected Him.)  These people justify their rejection of Him by trying to deny His existence.   But there has always been a remnant of "called-out ones" of every generation who give witness to the truth of the Bible.

As to all men who have founded religions, sikh gurus included, it is evident that they are only human and that they have no power except what they are given. These powers cease with the grave. Christ Jesus alone had power over death and the grave. His body stayed in the tomb for only three days and it knew no corruption nor was it cremated. On the third day He arose from the dead and is now set at the right hand of God the Father, in His body, which is now glorified and immortal. How do I know this to be so? I know because I have experienced the converting Grace of God. My conversion began with the conviction of my many sins which became so grievous and heavy that I could not bear them. Then, I was pointed to the Cross of Calvary where I understood that Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, took the sin of the whole world (mine included) upon Himself so that He might forgive any and all who receive Him as Lord and Savior. This I did and I was immediately born-again into the family of God. As I began growing in the grace and understanding of God, it settled in my Spirit that  I could trust Him to be like the God and Father of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus Christ: that is,

--a God of grace, truth, and love who is infinitely forgiving, yet perfect in justice
--a God that made us in His image in that, like Him, we know that we are, we are able to reason, we have freedom of choice, and we are able to create, though on a finite level
--a God that, even though He could not ask us if we wanted to be created before we were formed, made a way for all of our needs to be met
--a just God who took responsibility for our sin and short comings so that all we have to do to be justified before Him (that is, with no sin to our charge) is to by faith receive His gift of eternal life that was procured by the death, burial, and resurrection of His Only Begotten Son
--a God that wants nothing of you and I but that we love Him as He loves us, and that we love our neighbor as ourselves
--a God that puts no burden on His children other than they should confess Him before men and share with others the reasons for the hope that He has given
--a God that promises never to leave or forsake His Church, Who goes before them opening doors and Who makes all things work together for their good
--a God that has already created a mansion in heaven for each believer so that where He is, we might be with Him for ever and ever to behold His glory and to share His joy.

In all these things, the Lord Jesus Christ is unique!

Let me mention one other thing.  You begin your WRAP by referring to Christianity.   However, Christianity has three different definitions which need to be noted.

  1. Christianity can refer collectively to the many religions based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ--although the various religions are usually at odds with one another, sometimes vehemently.
  2. Christianity can refer to the nations whose cultures mainly reflect the input of some form(s) of a Christian religion.  History has seen the Christian nations divided into two main types: Catholic and Protestant.  However, with the establishment of the United States Government, the world has seen a new type of Christian nation based on a new kind of Christian religion: i.e., a nation which reflects the basics of the teachings of Christ without recognizing any particular church and which also incorporate the precepts of democracy.
  3. Christianity can also be thought of as the lifestyle of Believers in Christ.

I wish that you had actually quoted the words that offended you for your paraphrasing makes it sound as though I am being condescending to all who don't believe like I do.   This is not the way I think or the way I write.  I'm not sure which of my writings you are making reference to in your WRAP, but I was probably referring to the second type of Christianity--and more specifically, to the United States and other nations which have developed similar types of government.  I have done so because these nations love and promote peace and they make it a practice to give on a regular basis to other nations in the world who are less fortunate or whose forms of government keeps them stripped and in poverty.

If my statements were referring to the third type of Christianity, well, I grant you that I made a subjective statement.  But those who truly follow Christ as the Bible teaches are considerate of their neighbors and friends in time of need; they are peacemakers in a world of frustration and violence; they reflect the love of God to the hurting and the lonely; and they are careful to maintain good works (i.e., the "fruit of the Spirit") so that Christianity might be a stabilizing force in their families and communities.  To me, these things are good and unequaled in any religion in the world.

Let me finish my WRAP with a few quotes from the New Testament that Jesus validated with His death and resurrection.

Matthew 7:16-20
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Galatians 5:19-25
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Romans 8:14
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Galatians 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

By the way we put our "doweknow" web site up, not to argue, but to share our experiences and our faith.  We constantly reexamine our understanding of the Bible, for we know full well that we are human and fallible. We appreciate it when others point out problems with our site or our teachings.  However, our experiences with Jesus are not up for debate.  Like the Apostle Paul, we can say:

II Tim. 1:8-12
Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day

It is not our goal to prove some point or to win an argument; but it is our hearts' desire for all who visit our site to know the Lord Jesus even as we do.
