BRO DAYAL WROTE:

Dear brethren at Don Love Ministries,

We greet you in the glorious name of our Lord and savior Jesus christ.
Dear brother I am so glad that I make known about ministry concerning service of God to you.Having the great burden towards the perishing souls we get involved in outreach Gospel.
As you know that our country people most of them are idol worshippers and illiterates they are not willing to know that
JESUS CHRIST is the Saviour of the world.Even through we are facing many problems and persecutions in all aspects from some powerful groups(You may know Bro.Graham Stains incident) we are going on in doing the Lord`s service in faith.
In these bad days our who focus on activities of young people to fell victims and to turn away from the right path. They are
gradually attracted by T.V.serials and Internet illegal sites and they are wasting their time.So being forced by Holy Spirit we
established a Library by name"HERMON Reading Room".We hope people may avail of this ministry and get some advantage.
So dear brother kindly send your free Christian literature/material what ever the material available with you.So
that you can support our ministry.Kindly up hold our ministry in your valuable prayers. Your answer will be gratefully received.Involve and support us to fulfill the goals. We expect favorable reply so that the Lord may
move the situation here forward. We are praying very much for your ministry.

DON WROTE:

As I read your WRAP AROUND, a verse of Scripture comes to mind.

35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

The Lord has often put India on our hearts, having us to intercede for the precious people in your land.  I know that the need there is great, but you need to understand how great our need is for intercessory prayer.  So many of our adults have been hardened by the deceitfulness of riches as per the words of our Lord.

Matthew 13
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Also, the great majority of our youth are being corrupted by "entertainment"— so-called— and by people using them for political gain/purposes.

We are putting your WRAP up with the hopes that others will see and help meet your needs.

To date, we haven't put our books and studies in hardback form.  However, others have copied them and created loose-leaf notebooks.  Feel free to share our work with any and all.  We only ask that you make it available at no charge.

When you go to your prayer closet, please hold our great nation up before the Lord lest it loose the light that it has so graciouly held up for the world in generations past.   Not only is the harvest great, but in the light of all that's taking place on the world's scene the time may be very short as well.

Keep up the good work.  Jesus is coming soon!

MARC WROTE:

Hello again all; I really loved "Close Ranks." Is it available on tape or CD album or a cassingle?

Recently I listened to Hal Lindsey's CD audio disc summing up the Year 2002, and he said that
for the first time he's encountered CHRISTAINS who don't want to hear about the Rapture! (As
for me, I wish Jesus would come soon--YESTERDAY would be just fine!)When I get down and blue,
missing my family and beloved pets who have gone before, it is a great comfort to know what 1st
Thessalonians 4:15-17 promise:

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

We are to occupy until He comes. God give me the strength to hold until relieved. God bless all.

DON WROTE:

Hello Marc,

Good to hear from you again.

We're glad that you enjoyed the song "Close Ranks."  We are, as time permits, working on updating our music.  Hopefully, the new versions of them will be available soon.

I had problems with the links that you sent to Hal Lindsey's page.  However, I did go there; and I noticed that he quoted an article from the Washington Times, where U.S. and Spanish vessels intercepted a North Korean ship outside of Yemen late last fall that was carrying 15 scud missles and warheads. The article went on to say that according to US intelligence, after the North Korean ship unloaded it weapons at Yeman, it went to Germany and loaded on several tons of sodium cyanide, a precursor chemical used in making nerve gas.  It's obvious for all to see that there are nations that hate America for what she has been in the past when the precepts of the Bible were her foundation; and that these nations are not only sharing their hatred of us, but sharing their weapons as well.   It's also obvious that these nations have the will to use those weapons against us and our allies if given the chance.  However, the believer is to remember that "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" and that this same Holy Spirit is also the "Comforter" of the Church.   As to God giving you strength to "hold on," I don't know about that — for it's my understanding that He has a hold of you and that He has no intention of letting go of any of His own.  But I do know that He will give you the strength to carry His Word and to love your neighbor as you would like for them to love you — for that is His will and His promise.

If there was ever a time to walk in the promises and the will of God, surely it is today.  The sage has said that the wise will live each day as if it were his or her last.  Never has that gem of wisdom been more timely than it is today.  May the Lord grant us all the ability to see what we do that He can and will bless, and the heart to continue therein.  May He also grant us the ability to see what we do that he can't and won't bless, and the ability to lay those things aside.

Maranatha,

Don

Dear beloved Pastor

Greetings to you in the name of the Lord and Saviour

jesus Christ.

I would like to introduce my self to you. I was born in a Hindu family and worshipped idols like stone and wood. I used to sin and lost my way to Heaven and I had no peace in my heart. I read many of our religious Books to find the real God as there are many religions and names of Gods in the world.

It happened to me that I attended a gospel meetings and I was touched by the spirit of God and I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour . When I got converted I met some trouble. I was hated by our relatives and friends. My companions mocked at me because of my changed life. But I was not ashamed of them for I have found the real life and truth.

I commited my life the service of God . My ambition is to witness for Jesus to all men. In India millions of souls are lost without christ the saviour. My vision is to reach the unreached with the gospel message, bringing Hope in to lives.

Winning souls for Jesus Christ in a land dominated by Hinduism is not an easy task. The door for the Gospel may be closed at any time in India , and before that happens let us strive hard to bring the Gospel message to every home in India. We need heart burden and compassion supporters for India’s lost and unsaved souls to win them .

We have planted two church congregations and orphange caring destitute children. Also we didn’t have financial ability to consttruct permananent church buildings as well as for the orphange home. At present we are running the orphange in a small building which is inconvenient and unhygienic to the orphan children and also lack finances to continue orphange.

Our request to you is kindly pray for the need. We need your prayer about the ministries widows and aged , native missionaries, Leprosy people ministry.

We welcome you to India to see our work here. We are praying for your ministry.

Please pray for our annual convention from 4 th to 7th March 2003. pray for the needs of this convention.

I look farward to hear from you soon.

Yours in His service

I hate what the last generation of the church has done to the image of the Church of the Lord Jesus!  Never in the Scriptures do we see the Church represented as an organization that is dependant upon the riches of this world.   Never, never does the Bible suggest that a "successful" ministry is one that raises a lot of money, that is well-known and liked by the world, or that is busy copying the good deeds of the world.  In fact, the Bible speaks more of the Church being a "live organism" (i.e., the Body of Christ being led and impowered by the Spirit of Christ) than it does of the Church being an organization run by men.

Unfortunately, too many mega-media "ministries" with their flashy "evangelists" have not only confused the world, but people in the churches as well.  We here at doweknow see this confusion firsthand.  Hardly a month goes by without us receiving E-mails from someone who apparently feels like if they just had some money, they could serve the Lord.  May I submit that God has not called anyone to beg for money.  Rather, to me, the Scriptures calls men and women to submit themselves to God and to seek to be led and impowered by His Holy Spirit.  After all, we are not called to show men how to raise money, but how to let our lights shine so that others may see Christ in our lives so that they will want to reach out and touch Him--and to be touched of Him even as we have.  This is the hope of the world, to be touched of Jesus and to know that He lives and that He lives in the heart of the believer.  We do not need money to share this hope with the world.  If we will remember that the world is but a compilation of individuals and that Jesus deals with people "one person at a time, then all we need to do is to reach out to someone near us with the love of Christ!

Jesus said that if we will follow Him, He will make us to be fishers-of-men.  But for every commercial fisherman that works with a crew who handle large seines and large catches of fish, there are HOW MANY fishermen who fish with a pole, catching one fish at a time?  True, Jesus issued this call to be fisher-of-men to the first disciples, but He did not turn them loose with the "large seines" until after He had personally trained them for some three years.

THE PAINTING

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Viet Nam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.

About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands. He said, Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art.

The young man held out his package. I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this;

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears.

He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift;

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.

On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture; someone in the back of the room shouted, We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one; But the auctioneer persisted, Will someone bid for this painting? Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?...

Another voice shouted angrily, We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids; But still the auctioneer continued, The son! The son! Who'll take the son? Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son.  He shouted; I'll give $10 for the painting.

Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

We have $10, who will bid 20?

Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.

$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?

The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections. The auctioneer pounded the gavel. Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!

A man sitting on the second row shouted, Now let's get on with the collection.

The auctioneer laid down his gavel, I'm sorry, the auction is over.

What about the paintings?

I am sorry. But when I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!

God gave his Son 2,000 years ago to die on a cruel cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is, The Son, the Son who'll take the Son?; Because you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything!
