From: Mike Idabana <romidabana@yahoo.com> REVELATIONAL OUT REACH MINISTRIES [HOPE CENTER] MAFOLU KU OSHODI LAGOS NIGREIA Dear D Love THANK YOU FOR YOUR MAIL. I developed the faith to write to you and share with you the challenges facing our ministry to day after GOING THROUGH YOUR WEBSITE . Expecially in our book ministry. Iam Mike O Idabana by the grace of God the President of the above ministry. Right now i have a manuscript of a book at hand title: END TIME SIGNS AND REVELATIONAL PROPHECIES. It is a revelational book written under the aboundance of the grace of God. Targeted in bringing salvation to every one who have not been saved before, brings grassroots revival fire, creating awareness of the second coming of christ, fear of God in every nation and also it will help so many people to excape from the suffring that is to come as they go through it... Mike Don Wrote: Dear Mike: Thanks for taking time to WRAP with us. Your WRAP brought back memories of when the Lord first began dealing with me about writing a book. At the time, I had no idea as to what He might do with the book, if anything--but I soon realized that the book was to be a learning experience for me! Not only did I have the joy of researching the Bible, but I soon realized that organizing what I had found greatly contributed to my understanding of the subject matter. Also, I soon realized that my many years of education, including 8 years of college level work, had not prepared me to write a book. Consequently, I had to go back to the school/language books, but this time, not just to pass a test--but to understand the language and to learn how to use it! All in all, even if I had never published the book (and the others that followed), just writing a book had been a positive experience for me. If I were to have any advice for you, it would be to not be overly concerned about what you might do with a book, but to first concentrate on preparing and writing the book. Leave the rest to God for He is more than able!
As to writing about the revelations in the Bible, do not attempt to
set dates. I assume you are not since you said the reason for your writing
about revelations was to bring souls to Christ. Everything we do must
line up with the John 3:16:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."--and
the Great Commission. Mark 16: We will be praying for you and your endeavor. Don't forget to hold us up in your prayers. Don

NIZAR WROTE:
Subject: Just for your info.!!! Greeting, this site is just for your information... and just to clear some of your ideas.. http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/tawheed/ Thanks and good luck, Nizar DON WROTE: I went to your Web Site and looked through it. As the following two quotes from your site will attest, the underlying purpose of your site seems to be that of denying the deity of Christ Jesus.
This is unfortunate; for if you continue in your stance--like all the religious of this world who do not believe in the shed blood of Christ Jesus, you will be denying yourself any chance of enjoying eternal life in the presence of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I know to say this not only puts me at odds with Islam (and all others religious people who do not believe in the Christ of the Bible), but with the politically-correct, unreligious of this planet who feel like anyone who would make such a statement must be a narrow minded bigot. However, I do not say this as an opinion, but because of the following Scriptures from the Bible. Note, especially, the underlined words!
Let me repeat: the underlying purpose of your site seems to be that of denying the deity of Christ Jesus. If this is the case, then you and all who receive what you have to say will have no hope; for God sent His Only Begotten Son to die the awful death of the Cross for our sins so that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life! THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO GOD! This is so--not because any man says so, but because God has said so in His Word. If after reading these Scriptures, you still think that my stance is to narrow, then consider these Words of Jesus:
If you will read these last two quotes in their context, you will see that Jesus is concerned about the "judgments" that we make. He began His statement in Matthew chapter seven saying: "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye." Also, in His parable of the Pharisee and the publican, he stressed how that the publican's introspection and judgment of himself was pleasing to God while the self-righteous, religious Pharisee who habitually prayed and tithed was rejected by God. My point? Those who are on the strait and narrow that Jesus spoke of are those who have judged themselves and understand that they are sinners in the eyes of God. As a consequence, they are capable of compassion on others. Such are candidates for the kingdom of heaven. But those on the wide road that leads to destruction are those who habitually judge others and feel themselves to be better than those outside of their religion. Sadly, such religious fervor not only leads to contemptuous judgment of others, but can also lead to "megalomania" wherein the "self-righteous" person can actually feel that they must also be "God's executioners." Again to quote Jesus:
The good fruit that Jesus spoke of is listed for us by the Apostle Paul.
Notice that God did not leave us faltering on our own when it comes to bringing forth the fruit that is pleasing to Him; but has given to every believer the Holy Spirit to indwell and enable all who have been "born-again."
Paul also describes for us the works of the fallen flesh that is in all of us. (Notice that he used the word "works" instead of "fruit" because our fruit is brought about as a result of our union with Christ like a branch to a vine--while our works are a result of our own efforts which are tainted because of the fallen nature in our flesh!)
In the light of all this, it would seem that we should all examine ourselves and our religion to be sure that we are satisfied with where it will take us. It is my understanding, Nizar, that your religion is willing to give Jesus a place with God, but to somehow make Him to be subservient to Mohammed. Let me close by quoting once again the Apostle Peter:

Question-Comment: Hello my name is Leonard ________; and I received a revelation of God to start a book like the book of Mormon for former Homosexual Christians who would like to share with people the Testimonies of Jesus Christ. And to never give up on Jesus - what is your Ideal for the tidle and this sacred book God has called me to make? -Leonard Don Wrote: Hello Leonard, Thanks for taking the time to WRAP with us. I appreciate your concern for those who were once enslaved to the awful sin of homosexuality, but have been delivered by faith in Christ--for I, too, want them to understand the victory that is theirs by faith in Christ Jesus. Unfortunately, however, their are two extreme views that receive more attention in the church world: i.e., 1)homosexuality is all right too practice (even to the point of letting "out of the closet" homo's handle the pulpit) or 2)it is unforgivable and ex-homo's should be excluded from the congregation. Those who embrace this last stance take out of context these verses from the first chapter of Romans.
I'll never forget my first encounter with this passage in Romans. I was still a babe-in-Christ and getting acquainted with the Word. I had just finished reading the first chapter of Romans when our mailman, Marvin Lacy (see the link to "The Singing Mailman" on our site) came by with our mail. I was thinking how awful it was that homosexuals were given up by God to that abomination--never able to be saved from eternal damnation. I shared my thoughts with Marvin and he quoted the verse where all sin can be forgiven except the blaspheming of the Holy Ghost. This set me to thinking and to searching the Scriptures--and the incident made me to realize that God wanted me to have a "balanced" understanding of His Word, not only about homosexuality, but on all matters. True, there were homosexuals that God gave up to uncleanness--and I believe that there still are such individuals. However, it is also true that homosexuality can be forgiven for all sin can be forgiven except the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit. So, I had to deal with the question: which homosexuals are given up and which can be forgiven? After much prayerful Bible study, I felt that I had the mind of the Lord in the matter. It depends upon if a person was an "actor" or if the person had been "acted upon." The "actors" would be those who know that the sin is an abomination to God, but hardened their hearts and committed the abomination anyway. (Note that the Bible does not say that God hardened their hearts, but that He only gave them up to what they had chosen.) An example of such "actors" can be found in the account of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah when the homos there felt no fear of the angels of God, even though the angels had struck them blind. The account of the two angels who were sent by God to destroy the two infamous cities is found in Genesis 19.
The traits common to the "actors" are (1) they have hardened their hearts and (2) they have, consequently, been blinded by God. Those that have been "acted upon," however, are those who have been victimized and have either entered into the abomination without choice or, at the least, without consciously hardening their hearts towards God. (Many of these have been raised to believe that this act is an alternative lifestyle.) These who have been "acted upon" are capable of being convicted of the sin and repenting; whereas the "actors" can only press forward in their blindness, giving no heed to the feelings of others or to their own pathetic plight. It is interesting to note that Jesus referred back to the account of Sodom and Gomorrah when giving the end-time signs for the end of our age. (See Luke 17:28-30) For our world to become as it was in the final days of Sodom and Gomorrah, it only stands to reason that there will be a lot of "actors" on the scene, as well as those who have been "acted upon"--and already we see this in our midst. The young people of the last two or three generations have been "acted upon" and this has been done by those who are supposed to be looking out for their welfare. Beginning earnestly in the 1980's, our society began embracing immorality, especially sodomy. This was brought about in large part by corrupt individuals in our nation's universities who began instilling in the young, fertile minds of our students a "new morality" wherein there is no real "right or wrong" --and that the Ten Commandments of the Bible had become "outdated," no longer applying to our modern age. These were the students who would one day go on to become our social workers, our teachers, our politicians, our entertainers, and even our pastors--and, especially, our parents! To understand how the youth of the past generations have been "acted upon," let's consider the world in which they have grown up.
To try to understand the pressures on the youth of today, try to put yourself in the place of a tenth grader whose life is impacted by all of the above. In addition, add the peer pressure that this youngster feels when a popular young person of the same sex becomes friendly and then tries to turn that friendship into something sexual. All that you would have going for you would be the ten commandments that have been written in the heart of every son of Adam. Would that be enough to keep you out of sodomy, or would you become another that has been "acted upon" by our fallen society? And if you happen to be one of those who have been "acted upon," wouldn't it be Great News that Christ Jesus understands the situation and is more than ready to receive you if you would but repented of your sins and come to the foot of the Cross. Truly, it is as the song-writer put it: JESUS WILL MEET YOU THERE!! By the way, if you do put together such a book, I hope it will not be like the book of mormon; for the claims of that book can only be false because the Bible declares that nothing more can added to or taken away from what is already written. If you are really concerned about those in sodomy and those who have been saved from sodomy, let me suggest that you go to THE BOOK (the Bible) and memorize Scripture to share that will give them the assurance of the love/grace of God so that they can be recipients of that grace/love like any other sinner in this world--for we have all sinned and fallen short of the grace of God!!! |
