PASTOR GIDEON WROTE:

Question-Comment:

Dear Rev. Don,

It was a blessing to hear from you, So much has been happening here in kenya and this leads me to understand that very soon our Lord Jesus Christ will be coming back. There is a great need for us to get prepared for that day, and keep on telling people around the world to get prepared for the Master is coming back soon.

God has put you in our hearts and always we have been reminded to pray for you, your family and the your ministry, This is the time that the devil is working so hard, extra time to see that he deceives many, he is fighting the believers and God's ministers, afflicting them with sickness, bringing obstacles on the way, hindering many to know the truth, causing alot of discouragent to the ministers, I believe it is our time to pray and resist him, We should let him understand that God has given us power and forever more he is under our feet.

If the believers in America pray and we in Africa pray, the devil will have no where to run too, Please stand firm and pray for us as we do the same for you. we will begin seeing the Victory that will amaze the whole world, we will see God in action and we will start seeing God manifest himself upon our lives, ministries and our people.

Remember to pray for the referendum and let the whole church also pray for us over it, that it will be defeated on Monday next week.

God bless
Pastor Gideon and Evelyn Mudenyo

DON WROTE:

Hello Pastor and Mrs. Mudenyo,

We are praying for Kenya and your upcoming referendum.  Africa is only one continent that has proved over and over again the old adage: "Power corrupts; but absolute power corrupts absolutely."  Sadly, when total power finishes its corruption, the affected government is corrupted, as well.  As a general rule, all such corrupted governments make it a policy to quash any Christian influence because Christianity purports fairness and care one for another.  It is for this reason that we are praying for your referendum, and for all nations that are under the rule of bully tyrants.  IN ADDITION, WE ARE PUTTING YOUR WRAP UP SO THAT OUR VISITORS MIGHT PRAY WITH US FOR YOUR NATION, that it, and all such nations, might be blessed of God so that His people are able to worship and serve Him without fear of persecution.

Experienced Champion

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

Did you know that the force of faith has the power to rejuvenate your physical body? It's true. You can see that in the life of Sarah. Most people don't understand the full extent of what God did in her life. All they know is that He enabled her to have a child in her old age.

But if you'll look closer, you'll see that there was more to it than that. When Sarah laid hold of the promise of God by faith, it began to restore her physically to such an extent that when King Abimelech saw her, he wanted her for his wife.

Think about that! At 90 years old, she was so beautiful that a king wanted her in his harem. What's more, after she gave birth to Isaac, the Bible says, she nursed him till he was weaned. Then she kept right on
living until that boy was raised!

Now, I'm not telling you you can have a baby at 90 like Sarah did. She had a specific promise from God about that. But I am telling you that if you'll believe God for renewed strength and health in your old age,
He'll provide it for you. In fact, Psalm 103 says that's one of His benefits. It says God will fill your mouth with good things so your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

God's desire for you in your old age is that you are a powerful, experienced champion of the Word with your strength renewed by faith. Start confessing that today. Fill your mouth with the promises of God. Say,
"Praise God, my youth is renewed like the eagle's." You'll still go to heaven when your work on earth is through--but you won't just fade away. You'll fly out of here in a blaze of glory like the conqueror God
created you to be.

DON WROTE:

In Genesis 25, you'll see that after Sarah's death, Abraham married again and had children by his new wife, as well as his concubines.  In all, Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years--which brings me to a point.  Abraham lived in the transition time in the Old Testament when God was reducing the lifespan of man from centuries to the average time span of 70 years that still holds sway in our day.  Nevertheless, the Bible does tell us that at 90, Sarah was well past childbearing age; so, I agree with your stance that if we have the faith, we don't have to lay down and succumb to our circumstances, even to age.  A good example of this is Moses--and the Bible does say that God is no respecter of persons.

Deut. 34:
7 And Moses [was] an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
