WROTE: Re: Mid-East Peace - Israel Prophecy of Daniel 9:27 Covenant for one week. William Clinton has been involved in the above process since 93. He is always pushing Israel for concessions and land for so-called peace! He seems to have an agenda that will in the end lead to the destruction of Israel? Do you have any thoughts on this process and Clinton's involvement? God bless your ministry. Howard L. M_______ B'ANN WROTE: Thoughts, yes--but to express them, I need first to lay some groundwork. In the Garden of Eden, we are told from the book of Genesis that Adam was in a perfect state of communion with God. He was caretaker of all the lands. This communication of the Spirit was broken when they ate of the forbidden fruit. They were put out of the Garden, and the communion between God and man became very limited. Then the acts of contrition began, i.e., the instituting of animal sacrifices pointing forward (Gen. 4:3 cf. Gen. 3:21), the building of stone altars in remembrance, etc. We move to the next few Books of the Bible, and we find that God had chosen a people, the Israelitesthe offspring of His friend Abraham; and that He communed with them through His chosen leaders or by the miraculous, like a pillar of smoke by day, a pillar of fire by night, etc. God fed and clothed them in the wilderness; yet, they murmured against Him and wanted a King to rule over them as their neighbors had. God said, (paraphrasing) "I will give you this king, but you will have to bow to his human weaknesses." They got their earthly king. They tried out king after king and for the most part, each succeeding king got further and further from the precepts of the Lord. Finally, the Priests no longer went into the Holy of Holies to hear what God wanted. Indeed, the last few priests that tried it tied a rope around themselves so that they could be pulled out of the inner chamber if they were struck dead for being unworthy. (At least they acknowledged that they were far removed from God's original plan for man.) In all of this the imperfection of man became a stark reality, as did their need for a Savior one who was worthy and could intercede to God for them. (This, of course, was fulfilled in the person of Christ Jesus.) Time went by and it was constantly prophesied, as a reminder, that there would be a Savior Who would be sent in the fullness of time to redeem Israelas well as "whosoever will" among the Gentiles. Indeed, when He started His ministry, Jesus said, "I have come first to the lost house of Israel." However, the Israelites were still earth minded. Somehow, the idea of a future kingdom which was not of this earth was not an easy concept to grasp, they wanted Christ to establish a kingdom for them then and there. I think we can understand this! Being made from the dust of the earth, naturally we feel a deep attachment to it. This is where a transforming process needed to take place. Jesus said to Nicodemus, "Marvel not that I say unto you, you must be born again!" This is the only way a person can get a glimpse of the "heavenly kingdom". Since we in the United States rejected a King in 1776, for Americans this process of accepting a "kingship" is a far greater miracle than one can imagine. Anyway, accept the Lordship of Christ one must if they are going to enter into the mysterious Kingdom of God. The nation of Israel has long had excellent historians. Since they were God's chosen people, chosen to carry His message of love and concern for the earth, they most certainly kept careful lineage records to prove that they were the apple of His Eye. They forgot one thing, however. They were supposed to share this "Good News" with everyone. Because of their tendency to be earthly minded, they did not want to share this lineage with outsiders for they wanted the promised King to come just for them. They withdrew from their neighbors and became clannish. (God did not tell them to be clannish but just to refrain from worshipping the god's of their neighbors.) They absolutely thought that this promised King that God would send to them would restore their nation to its original glory and domination. This is how they interpreted the Scriptures that say He will subdue all and put it under His feet. If you will read Pastor Love's study on the peaks of prophecy (See booklet 2, Chapter five of the authors' book THE CLOCK OF THE AGES), you will understand that they failed to see the Valleys of Decision between the mountain peaks of prophecy on the time line. They failed to see the numerous warnings of the prophets throughout the Old Testament that clearly said the Kingdom would be taken from them and given to a people that were not a people (the Gentiles). NOT SO, LORD, They cried. They just wanted to skip from mountain peak to mountain peak like the goats of the highlands and never have to deal with the valleys between the mountains. They wanted to live carnal lives and not have to deal with a Holy God. Anyway, when Jesus came as a lowly Babe, born in a manger, He did not fit into the picture of history that the nation of Israel had decided He must follow. So, because He did not fit into the mold of their own making, they said, "Away with Him, Give us Barabbas" who was but a common thief and murderer. They wanted power on earth. Power over men. Power over governments. They could not abide the idea that "Whoever is the greatest among you, let him be a servant." They rejected Jesus as the promised Messiah and looked for another. Many are still looking for another. The Scriptures say He cannot be found until He returns in the clouds to take His Bride, the Church of born-again believers, up to be with Him. Later, he will return to earth and actually touch His feet upon it again. But that will come later. Now, as to President Clinton and his peace initiative--he is not anymore diligent about finding peace in the Middle East than any other president. Israel was a "trembling block" for the world during World War II and continues until this day. Will they ever get back the lands and position they callously tossed away? Probably not, unless King Jesus sees fit to restore them when He returns. If you study the Old Testament, the lands and boundaries that they were supposed to occupy are listed explicitly. However, as I read the Scriptures, it seems that God is still trying to get them to see the Kingdom of God in a mystery, not an earthly one. Since the Bible says this can be obtained only by being born again into that Kingdom, then the matter takes another turn. Let me point out something here. Remember Naaman, the ruler with leprosy, who had to dip in the muddy Jordan River seven times before he could be made whole. Since he was approaching exile and death, he felt he had nothing to lose and obeyed this commandment. A little maid of Israel gave the commandment, which is a forerunner to the little maid that bore the Son of God. [In the New Testament Scriptures, we find that those of the Israelite lineage had to accept the humbling act of baptism before they could receive the Holy Ghost (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38) and be born again. Yet, we find that upon the Gentiles it was poured out freely the moment they believed (Acts 10:44-48). This might help us understand some of the confusion about the role of Baptism in the churches. To become a born again believer, the Jews had to accept that "Jesus was, He is, and evermore will be." They had to profess with their mouth, believe in their hearts and be baptized in the name of Jesus to receive remission of sins, but we should note that these conditions applied only to the generation of "transitional Jews" that had to make the leap from the age/covenant of the Law to the age/covenant of Grace. (For more on the "transitional Jews," go to our on-line book MARK THEM.] Does God want to set up a kingdom here on earth, to be a great governing center, to bring all nations to His feet? Many believe that to be sobut is that the real reason. We need to stop and consider! The Bible teaches that ,He will return and set up His Kingdom during the Kingdom Age, but remember, He made worlds without end; so why would He come and restrict Himself to the Throne of David in a little nation in the middle East. Or even better yet, why did He lower Himself to be born in a manger to a little maid of Israel, and live an obscure life for some thirty years. What did this get Him but the rejection of the very people He formed from the dust of the earth, the ones that He had come to seek and save. I will let you ponder this! |

STEPHEN
WROTE: Hi Don, I am sure you are a good Christian and a good man, I have found your teachings very inspirational and I believe you are on the right track. Of course I may be wrong and I am still open to learn more from as many teachers and translations I come across, so far I agree with your Teaching and I think its good. But, what is the point of your E-mail section, I have so far sent FOUR different e-mails to you and have not had the courtesy of a reply. If you do not have the time to read these, do not offer the facility, many people will become upset and feel that Christianity is very self centred. On the other hand, if you read them and feel they are not worth replying to, again why offer the service in the first place. If you can't handle it all yourself, there must be some workers who are willing to. Praise the Lord and God Bless you, S________ B'ANN WROTE: First, let me point out that we both work for a living. Up to this point, we have not taken offerings from people because this matter of fund raising can take on a "carney-atmosphere" which can be irritating. Yet, I have spoken to Don about opening up a way that people might give. Indeed, the ministry of giving is a very viable part of the call of God. Where to give and how to give has long been a concern of mine. I would not want people misled into giving just for the sake of giving. We have moved. It took sometime time to get settled and to get the phone lines reconnected. Since we arrive home from work late in the evening, we need to rest a little. After we take care of our personal responsibilities, we have but a limited time left which we gladly share with out fellow cybernauts.. We have found only one letter from you on our web site. If you sent others, perhaps they were in the window of time during the move and were not delivered. Thanks for saying we do offer a service. We wanted to serve with the word. My heart does get troubled when I see the "service" of the Lord so overshadowed with the monstrous task of fund raising. The addition of other people would force us into organized fund raising campaigns. We have always wanted God's people to give to us as they were led, not because we launched an effort solely for money. Perhaps, we need to rethink this, but that's the way we feel to date.. We will pull up your letter that was received and answer it. Sorry for you distress. ______________________________________________ STEPHEN WROTE: Hi Don, First I am sending this to you because I don't want to make a mistake on anything so important. Firstly I would like to tell you a little about myself. Then I will tell you about the prophetic word I believe the Lord has given me. Before you accept this word, I would like you to take it before the Holy Spirit to ensure the prophecy is true. I was Baptized in 1955 when I was 15 years old, I was a proper teenage Christian, I believed but I also wanted to do my own thing. I see the same trend in my son today. Somewhere down the track I strayed and backslid into the carnal world where making money and being funny were the most important things in my life. Then 1985, things came to a halt. My business was in shambles, I was going broke fast, I had two young children to support and an arthritic wife and her mother who was suffering with very bad lungs due to smoking. I was not sure if I should kill myself off, become a drunk or get myself admitted to an insane asylum. Then a business associate suggested that I hand my problems over to the Lord, well to cut a long story short that is what I did and Praise be to the Lord I am now back on track, never to be taken off track again. Regarding the prophecy - I have never prophesied before and so I was quite surprised when The Lord told me what I was to do. I said, "Why would anyone listen to me?" He replied, "I'm not asking you to worry about that, I'm asking you to do this." I have procrastinated over this for some weeks now and I keep thinking that maybe I am being a bit precocious and that these thoughts are just my thoughts, but they are not completely my thoughts as they are biblical. In His service and love, S________. B'ANN WROTE: First of all, you did not share the prophecy that you wanted us to help discern. Secondly, can the word that you feel you have received be verified by the Bible? And then you can check the "spirit" of the word--remember, for the Church, all reproof is for correction and edification, not condemnation. Do you feel that the word was for the lost? If so, remember that Jesus said He didn't come to condemn the world for the world was condemned already. It needed and still needs to hear some good news. However, the message of Grace that has been presented by the church the past few decades has such a burden to keep and carry that people shy away from it. What people need to hear is the message that Jesus is not another burden, but a burden lifter. It is all a matter of deliverance. For instance, if a person was tempted to steal every time he entered a store, he/she could handle this in two ways. When the store was entered, the person could start chanting, "I will not steal, I will not steal, I will not steal!" over and over either silently or aloud. The shopping trip would be a miserable experience with the person having to keep himself/herself under control or "saved" if you will. In deliverance, the power of God takes away this temptation and the person can walk through the store free from the habit of stealing, free from the chanting, free from the guilt and condemnation felt while chanting. The thought process of stealing will no longer be in that person's mind. Free! So, you wanted us to give you a "word." This word was to either tell you to give the prophecy you received or not to give it. I will give you the advice that I give everyone that wants to receive a "word" from another. You have the same Holy Spirit that I have. If you are not totally convinced of your standing and worth to the Lord, if you are not convinced that you received a direct word from Him, then I would not step out as a carrier of His word/messages. Hesitation is not necessarily bad. Jesus did say, "Trust me, try me, prove me." I will never say, "Thus saith the Lord, you are chosen by Him to carry this message." If you are close enough to Jesus to receive this message, then you should be close enough to know if it is real. I will not be an intercessor between you and God because the Bible says we have an advocate with the Father and He will guide us into all things. Also, not necessarily does this word have to be given with body gyrations, hands laid on, falling down, etc. Some people stand and take the message like a man. A classic example from the scriptures of people falling backward was when they came to take Jesus to be crucified (John 18:6). We need to realize that they "fell" because they were involved in terrible wrong doings, not because they were chosen and anointed for any great gift. Don't be impressed by theatrics. Be impressed when you see someone living the life daily. Even if you should happen to have a true prophecy, don't be surprised if it is received just as the one Noah gave. You are not responsible to the way someone responds to a word of admonition. You are only responsible to give it. (You are also responsible for the "way" that you give it.) After giving it, it might be years before you can see the results. This is why we are told "to possess our souls with patience." At times I have felt tempted to go to a neighbor and say, "You are wrong, That is a sin ." As I matured in the Lord, I realized that my life, my actions, my demeanor talked louder than words. I have seen peoples lives changed because they saw a consistency in what I did. Note I did not say a "perfect" me but a consistency. One of the truest "words" that I have heard come forth in the last few years is that "My people are not consistent," thus saith the Lord. Think about how long Noah was consistent. Since I am answering you "off the cuff," I hope this will help settle what you feel is a pressing matter. Just remember, we are to be in a shepherding mode, not an "attack" one. A good sheep-herding dog guides the critters into a safe place and protects them from the enemy. He never scatters the flock or gives a frontal attack. He is usually behind them, nudging them on to safety. DON WROTE:
Brother, this is not just a good suggestion--this is a command from the Scriptures. We do not have to worry about offending the Holy Spirit when we test the spirits, for He has commanded us to do so. We only need to worry if we do not test Himand all spiritsuntil we are confident that we are sure of His leadership. How are we to test the spirits? The Bible gives us the basis: for example, no one can call Jesus his own personal Lord but by the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 12:3). Also, any spirit that will not confess that Christ came to this earth born of a virgin is the antichrist (I Jn. 4:1-4). The Bible is very clear as to the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, etc.), so if a spirit is prompting us to do something, we can know it is not of the Lord if it does not meet these criteria. Another test that I've learned is that the Holy Spirit is every bit a "gentleman," and not a "bully." He does not make anyone do anything for this would violate the "free will" given to man. (This is not to say that He may turn someone over to the devilthe father of all bullies. Or that He may stop someone from doing something that would hurt himself or violate another's freedom of choice.) This matter of testing the spirits is all tied up in "counting it as all joy when you fall into divers temptations," and "though now for a season, if need be, ye are in much heaviness through manifold temptations"--and it is not a matter of chastisement as much as it is of preparation to do the will of the Father (Heb. 12:5-12). The purpose of such testing is to get us to the place that won't have to ask another if the word we have received is of the Lord, that we might know with absolute confidence that we have heard from Him. When I answered the Lord's call to service, it was with the understanding that I'd rather err on the side of caution and never "give a Word" than to give a word that might do someone harm. Often this approach takes us into "waiting upon the Lord" which at times becomes a factor in "the when" of when we answer a WRAP. May we never WRAP just to be WRAPPING, but that our words might have His anointing and His life. Thanks for taking the time to WRAP with us. Yours in Christ, Don Love |
NORBERT WROTE: To my brothers & sisters in Christ: My name is Norbert Hackman. I am a construction worker. I am 58 years old. I was speaking in tongues during my devotions in 1990 and what came out of my mouth changed my life. The Holy Spirit said, "Just open your mouth as you do to speak in tongues and I will give you something to say, I am the Messiah and I operate through faith." Then he taught me for 69 mornings about what we need to do to get ready for the rapture. This was about 23 hours of teaching on tape. I was able to get it published and have given away about 22,000 books so far. Then on May 9th 1999 he returned to teach me again. This time within his teachings was a prophesy about the destruction of America. I just got on the internet and am e-mailing people throughout the internet that might be interested in a word from the Lord. I could use help in getting the prophesy and teachings out to his people. I am not familiar with using a computer and would like any kind of help you can give. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thanks. A brother in Christ: Norb Hackmann
B'ANN WROTE: We visited your web site. I do not doubt that you received this, however, when I consider a teaching, there is one key ingredient that is necessary, very necessary, before it can receive my acceptance. I kept looking for the word "Jesus" in your prophecy.
I noticed that you used the word Messiah. When people give me a prophecy, I ask, "Which Messiah? Which Lord? Which Holy One?" The Scriptures command us to "test the Spirits." In obedience, I must test all things that come my way. You should not get offended or want to lash out if I ask, "Which Spirit?" This is not to doubtful disputation, nor is it a personal affront against you. It does not take a "rocket scientist" to discern murder, adultery, hate, wrath, blatant disregard for the Ten Commandments, etc. However, it does take the "mind of Christ" to know how to deal with the things of which you wrote. Now, for your prophecy to be an absolute happening, we have to take into account two variables. The variables are the lessons given about Jonah and the one given about Sodom and Gomorrah. If the United States repents as did Nineveh, then, the Hand of God will be stayed for a season. Every word or prophecy was given so that mankind could have a chance to repent. How do I know? The Bible tells me so. Every promise in the Bible is mine to claim. That puts the responsibility upon the Christians. If we do not feel we have need of repentance, then perhaps we will receive a visitation similar to Sodom and Gomorrah's. If there is not a sufficient "ratio" of Christians in the U. S. to stay God's wrath, then the things you speak of could come to pass. Will it be the fault of the unsaved? NO! It will be the fault of the righteous. The visitation upon Sodom was for the sole purpose of looking for "righteousness." When the Lord was on His way to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, the heart of Abraham was to intercede for the people, not to condemn and destroy. This excerpt is from their conversation.
Since our righteousness during this Age of Grace is the imputed righteousness of Christ, then, such heavenly visitors today would be looking for those that have truly professed Christ. In other words, they would be looking for all with a born-again experience. The "standing" of righteousness we have before the Throne of God is the gift of God (Ph. 3:8-9); and it must be received as a gift.
This bottom line requirement for entering into the Kingdom of God takes many things out of the hands of man and places them in the Hands of Jesus. If there are not "ten" (or a percentage equal to that) to be found in the U. S., then we need to get off our lazy duffs, stop screaming "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" and give the GOOD NEWS. I once tried to witness to an unmarried girl who had a baby, had no income, parents had rejected her, etc. I told her that the world could end tonight and where would she be. This was not the GOOD NEWS she needed to hear. Already she was in a suicide mode and the thought that it might all end was what she really wanted. I learned quickly not to talk to a person--condemned by society or even by their own conscience--about an ending. Rather, I needed to talk about a beginning, a hope, a friend, a Savior. What the world needs is not another message of condemnation. They need the simplicity of John 3:16. Jesus said we didn't need to condemn them as they were condemned already. As I read the many messages about God's wrath coming forth from "ministers" today, it comforts me to know that His love and mercy has not come to an end. The Spiritual leaders of today's world must not be caught up in a feeling of futility. The message of John 3:16 is still very powerful. We need to get back to presenting it in its purest form and not make the world sift through a rerun of the TV newscast to find it. There should not be a summary of the world's news from the pulpit. Ministers need to lay aside every weight that does so easily beset them, and just give the GOOD NEWS. The TV news has the people every day at 6:00 A.M, at 6:00 P.M, and at 11:00 P.M. They do their job well. Ministers only have some of the people, briefly, on Sunday morning at best. Need I say more? You are looking at the symptoms of a diseased society. You cannot cure a disease by looking at the symptoms only. The cause must be found often by painstaking research. Apparently, this is something that the church community does not want to do. Where do we start? Just as Judas did when he said, "Is it I, Lord?" This is the starting point. Where is the ending point? Jesus said, "It is finished!" How can we add to something that God has already finished to perfection? We need JOHN 3:16! DON WROTE: I have a great concern about the church's fascination with "getting a word." In answering our call to evangelize and to take the songs that the Lord has given us into the local churches, we have found ourselves in all types of churches with all kinds of beliefs. A good majority of these churches were trying to press into the "word ministry" wherein the Holy Spirit is supposed to be giving a word to the body or someone in the body through an individual. My concern has to do with the content of many of these "words" which sounded "strange" to my ears. They didn't sound strange because I'm unfamiliar with this form of ministry, but they sounded strange because too often the words did not agree with the Scriptures. I've asked myself, "Why this relative, new-found fascination with getting and giving a word'?" I'm satisfied that the answer lies in laziness and disobedience. The average church member in these churches must not have been heeding Paul's charge to the church to "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (II Timothy 2:15); or they would not have accepted these "words" at face value. This can be expected of the lazy Christian, for when someone is too lazy to do for themselves, they are always looking for someone to do for them. It seems to me that these who won't study the Word for themselves are always wanting an "instant word" that requires no effort on their part. Of course, the enemy of our soul is always more than willing to oblige. However, like many instant foods, these "words" have little Scriptural substance and even less spiritual value. Doesn't history teach us that when the Church is saturated with this mindset, the world always falls into spiritual darkness? Consider the period that historians have labeled "the dark ages." Because men did not value the Word of God and were willing to let others study it in their stead and tell them what it said, eventually, those that they trusted hid the Bible from them, teaching only what would exalt and profit themselves. Church, why, for heaven's sake, should we run here and there looking for a "word" when we have it on our coffee tables and several more gathering dust on some shelf? IF YOU WANT A WORD FROM GOD, THEN GO TO HIS WORD! We are praying for you. Don Love NORBERT WROTE AGAIN: Don: I agree with you that the reason people want a word from the Lord is because they are too lazy to get it for themselves. I have never asked for a word at the church I attended nor did I ever give one. This was in the privacy of my home in my devotions. And as I have been commanded to give it to others this I will do. The sections that are on my website are a very small portion of the teachings. It is meant to catch enough interest to let me send them the book with the complete teachings. It is not meant to be judged in itself. I am not making a living off of the word that I received, in fact I was commanded to give the word away and not charge for anything, to which I have been faithful. I will give what I have been given and I thank you sincerely for putting it on your web site. In His Love: Norb Hackmann DON WROTE AGAIN: Of all that you and I have written one another, nothing is more doctrinally sound than your closing. "In His Love!" I have thought of adding a verse of Scripture to the launch page of our study in Revelation.
Then I would like to have the words " And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing " blinking on and off for emphasis. Think about it. What makes this life worthwhile, it's not the house as fine as it may be or the car as shiny as it is, but it is wrapped up in those that we love. Truly, getting the understanding that I feel the Lord has given me re: prophecy was a joy, but rejoicing in the Lord and doing good to one another, these are the high spots of the day. To obey the Lord Jesus and write the things that I feel He has dropped into my spirit has its own rewardbut to answer His call to be a "fisher-of-men," knows no equal in this life. Often I'm frustrated when I try to write my feelings, I guess this is why the Lord has to give me songs. Some words from one of these songs comes to mind now.
Everytime I see a sinner, come to the foot of the cross What's the greatest joy in heaven and in all the earth Let me close my part of this wrap with a word from Jesus Himself.
Herein is our joy. Herein is the hope for our neighbor. And herein is the "call" of everyone who knows Christ as Lord and Savior. Love, NORBERT WROTE AGAIN: In reply to B'Ann In reply to your writings, when you look for the word Jesus in prophecy, this is like looking for your name in your teachings. The Holy Spirit of Jesus is the author. I do not try to tell Him how I want Him to teach me. My only promise is that the annointing that is in us will teach us all things. This annointing is the Holy Spirit. You asked which Messiah, which Lord, which Holy One. For me and I hope for all my brothers and sisters there is only one Messiah, one Lord, and one Holy One. B'Ann I do not get offended by asking which spirit. We are commanded to test the spirits. I expect that to be done. But can the spirits be tested by a very small portion of the teachings. You are right. It is our (the Christians) fault that America is in the shape that it is in. We let abortion, homosexuality, and adultery take place without everyone of us falling on our knees before our Father and repenting for our Nation. We let God be taken out of our schools and let condoms be put in. Truth cannot be told without offending the guilty. It is not my purpose to condemn anyone only to give the word that I received. If you were in my shoes I hope you would do the same. If you would be fair to the teaching that I received you would let me send you the book and tapes to examine the complete teachings. In His Love: Norb Hackmann B'ANN WROTE AGAIN: We asked that you test the spirits. There is an old saying, "If any man can talk you into something, another can talk you our of it." We shared some of our experiences and concerns. The Scriptures say,
We would not hinder anyone with a genuine call from the Lord. The things we write are not to "doubtful disputation" but rather one of self-examination. If a person says they have a call, and if it strays too far from Jesus' last admonition which was
then alarm bells start going off. Will what we do produce the end results of what Jesus wanted, i.e., that men everywhere be told the Good News and be given a chance to accept or reject Him? We did not intend for your readers to reject your message. I think they will have much more confidence in your writings if you are willing to apply these Scriptures.
It does seem you are willing to apply these to you ministry. We put up DOWEKNOW? to simply say that mankind does not really know everything. The Bible declares that if all the things Jesus did were written, that the world could not contain it. We little created beings need to consider what a small part of anything we really DO KNOW. The Scriptures do not say in vain:
We love the Word of God and we salute all that diligently seek the Lord and those that have a great desire to bring the lost into the Kingdom of God. We have so little time for people bashing. We need to get about the simple message of John 3:16. Some say it isn't enough. When it is no longer enough, then enough is enough. We look forward to hearing from you. SELAH |

John
R. Wrote: Dear Don, Please consider the following origin to the place/name, "Europe." The name, that has come down to us through the Greek sources as, "Europa," is a feminized form of the same Hebrew name that comes to us through Biblical sources in it's masculine Latin form, "Jeroboam." (Compare the old Syrian city that is alternately called, Europolis, and Jerobulos, for a simular transliteration.) Jeroboam I was the first king of the northern ten tribes of Israel. This Israel was famously known as a virgin, betroth to God who went "whoring" after foreign gods. It is obvious that the "Virgin Israel" was known to some by a feminized version of the name of it's first king. The evidence for this identification is overwhelming. Jeroboam is famous Biblically, for introducing the adoration of god in the form of a bull; just as Europa did Zeus. The resulting "loss amongst the nations" occurred in both cases. Of course Phoenicia, Europa's homeland lost, is the same place as the land of Canaan, Israel's lost home land. Let us not forget the ancient prophecy, Cadmus was told, when he found Europa he was to return with her; Is not the Bible full of references to this same motif in the claim that Israel will one day be regathered and return? Summarizing, a maiden, the Earthly beloved of god, from the land of Canaan, got "carried away" adoring god in the form of a bull. This resulted in her loss amongst the nations and also of her kin, who represent nations or tribes of Peoples. One day to return to the old homeland, alternately known as Canaan, Phoenicia and Israel. Do the research yourself, the source books are certainly readily available, the conclusion is inevitable; the etymology of "Europe" is ultimately, "Jeroboam." A clue for Cadmus? -John R. Salverda Dear Don, could the Jews (who are neither baptized, nor do they accept Jesus) and their "regathering" to the land of Israel, be the fulfilling of God's well known promise? I submit that "the house of Judah," is not "the house of Israel." And that Israel remains lost among the (European) nations to this very day, for their future regathering at the "end times." The house of Judah is not Israel, they are at most 2/12ths of Israel and they were never lost. Jesus has said "I come not, but for the lost sheep of the house of Israel." It is in fact the Biblically verifiable, job of Jesus to do this regathering (Isa. Chapter 49) Accordingly it was the European nations (Israel lost) who became Christians, the Jews never accepted Christ. The modern religions, teach (erroneously) that the Jews regaining their homeland in 1948, was the fulfilling of God's great promise. They therefore wrongly place us in the end times prematurely. Please see, 2 Kings, 17;13-23. also, the end of the book of Hosea, chapters 10-14. There you will see that Israel (Ephriam) is not Judah. So you must conclude that the 1948 event, was not the fulfilling of God's promise to regather Israel at all. Dear Don, don't stumble at the Greek myth, it only verifies what the Bible said, the teachings of the modern churches, (that the Jews regaining their homeland in 1948, was the fulfilling of God's great promise to restore Israel) do not. What am I to think? I think the modern churches will one day be corrected, but as it is, their entire prophetic chronology is in error, perhaps you will correct them. The modern churches do not look forward to the regathering of lost Israel, (they think it has already occurred) they better change this view before God's promise actually is fulfilled in this regard, or they may not partake of it, they may even oppose it, and be on the wrong side at Armageddon. There is much more evidence, this is a very deep subject, I have only scratched the surface. Please feel free to Email me with any specific questions you may have. -John Don Wrote: Since the Mediterranean area was the melting pot for the continent of Europe and Asia, it would stand to reason that the European and Asian heritage came from either Shem, Ham, or Japheth. The Bible does teach that Judah was the only one that remained somewhat faithful to God. The other tribes were either lost or assimilated into other cultures. This would be of great concern for the Israelites since they wanted their bloodline to remain pure in hopes that the King of the Jews would come from them. They never could seem to grasp that God was speaking of a heavenly, spiritual kingdom, first, which in turn would have allowed them to rule the world by righteous influence; not by tyranny. They rejected the Messiah that we embrace because He did not come to set up an earthly dynasty that they could rule. As to the actual history of Israel paralleling that of Greek and Roman mythology, this is not difficult to understand as there will always be a counterfeit along with the genuine. God has always given man two choices in any matter. The Scriptures say,
The etymology of the names of the cities is considered by most to be a fairly accurate record of history. I am not so sure about the records of the citizenry. Think about how diverse the history of U.S. would have to be to portray all its people. History does seem to pick out a particular group of people and write about them. The reason the Greeks and Romans were written about was because they became so entwined with God's people, especially in the matter of slavery. Also, civilization had moved from oral tradition to the writing of events upon scrolls during this time. We do not find as much written about Egypt and Egyptian bondage in secular writings because they were still in the hieroglyphic stage. Not only did the Israelites lose their homeland, they became so intermeshed with other nations that they could no longer speak or read their Hebrew language. They really lost out. I understand what you are trying to say about the Myths. Yes, they are parallel deities, but only to give substitutes. If a historian were to view the U. S. today, if he were to take the things on TV as a basis for the historical writings, do you see what a mixture of fact and fiction it would be. I maintain that when we read the stories from long ago, that if a common thread does not remain steadfast, we may be getting a mixture of fact and fiction. The reason we accept some things as history is because we can trace back and find accurate common threads such as the etymology of names as you mentioned in the first part of your email. I agree about the tribe of Judah, that it did seem to stay somewhat steadfast to God. As to the gathering of Israel, this will have to be done by God. They have been dispersed to the point that many probably do not even know they are Jewish. The Scriptures do teach that they will start to long for and to migrate back to the Homeland when God begins to draw them back. When we think on such things that are "determined" by God, we must remember that He is the God who spoke to "nothing" and "nothing" became brimming with life; that He is the God who will fulfill Job's enunciation that though the worms are his flesh, yet in that same body he would stand before his Redeemer. If he can speak to nothing and it become the swirling universe(s?) in which we live, if He can speak to the DNA of the deteriorated bodies left by his departed saints and they come together to be glorified, then surely he can speak to the dry bones of which Ezekiel prophesied and they shall come together. It will be no problem for Him to find the true Israelites of all tribes, Judah included. Thanks for sharing. Certainly the Scriptures say:
A word of caution, however. Do not go seeking so far afield that the simple message of John 3:16 is lost.
