DON WROTE:

We have received several such requests. If you have a printer connected to your computer, feel free to print out as many copies that you would like to use or to share with others. We only ask that you pass them on free of charge. If you are surfing the web with the Microsoft Browser or the Netscape Browser, simply go to the top of the page and click on the File Menu, come down to "print preview," and follow the instructions. Be sure that you choose to print in "landscape" mode rather than "portrait." You can also choose to print in color or in black and white. If you are using some other browser, they probably have some similar way of printing the chart. If for some reason you still cannot print the chart, let me know and I will be glad to send you a copy.

We have chosen to put this correspondence with you up on the Web for others who might also want a copy of the chart to keep in their study Bible or to use in a Bible Study.

Don’t forget to hold our ministry up in your prayers.

Love,

Don

Question-Comment: I know we have been told to "Occupy until I come." I pray the Lord will give me the strength to hold until relieved.

The whole world looks like it's getting ready to blow it's top; Bush is trying to get us into a full-scale war with Iraq, ect. And if the Middle East DOES blow, that could, I pray, be the triggering event for the Rapture...
Sir Issac Newton said that toward the end, wise men would rise up, proclaiming the Gospel. That is exactly what is happening right now. However, too many have become deaf and blind.

Please God let us hear and heed.

As the time of Lord's return draws nearer and nearer, surely the believers in Christ will need His peace; and the Bible tells us how to experience this peace.

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

What do these words mean to the Christian? What does it mean to have our mind stayed upon the Lord so that He can give us His peace? His perfect peace?  It is as simple as reminding Him and ourselves of what He has done for us and is still doing for us.  If you are not in the habit of memorizing Scripture, let me suggest that you do so lest you find that you have "holes" in your spiritual armor so that the devil can rob you of your peace.

As to our faith:
Heb. 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

As to our temptations
James 1:2-4
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

James 1:12-16
Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Do not err, my beloved brethren.

1Pe 1:3-7
Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1Cor 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

I John 1:8-10
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Hebrews 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted

As to our trials and testings

2Cor. 5:17-18
Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Rom 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

These are just a few of the Scriptures that should be hidden in your heart, for without these and others like them, you are like a soldier going to war without a weapon.

Eph. 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Hbr 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

By the way, as to President Bush trying to get us into a war, there are those who contend that the war was brought to us, but God alone knows the thoughts and intents of the heart.  For sure, though, the Lord would not have His Children walking in fear during these times, but to be walking in the Spirit of peace and of a sound mind.

II Tim. 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Thanks for WRAPPING with us,

Don

Hi what a beautiful explanation of the book of Rev,. We are doing this book at the church. We are into the 7 th chap. I
found all my answers. My its so easy to understand. It tells me I have to be ready every second, for that blessed
hope. keep up the good work. God bless you.

Don Wrote:

Thanks for the word of encouragement.  I'm glad that the Lord has used it to bless you.

You say, "It tells me I have to be ready every second, for that blessed hope."  Perhaps better terminology would be, "It tells me I am to be watching every second for that blessed hope."  Remember, all who have by faith received Christ as Lord and Savior have been born again into the Kingdom of God and are "ready" for the Lord's return.  Hence, the question that remains for them is will they be watching and working/serving or will they be ashamed at His Coming?

1Jo 2:27-29
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Let me leave you with the chorus to one of the songs that the Lord has given our family.

Let us lift up feeble hands to the work
and strengthen what remains in the way,
Put your hands to the plow,
your feet on the path,
fix your eyes triumphant to the skies
and lift your heads for your redemption is nigh

1. what events are inaugurated by the sixth trumpet?

2. What response should this woe elicit from the unbelieving world?

What would your answers be?

awesome. God Bless, Bernice

When read in its context, the wording of Rev. 9:13-21 would seem to apply to the Hebrew people. I say this because the wording is Jewish, borrowing terms used of Israel in the Old Testament. If this be the case, then 1/3 of the men of Israel will be slain by the events initiated at this time. Verse 15 is especially interesting in that the destruction associated with this rendering of the first half of Daniel’s 70th Week will not be brought about by Satan’s followers, per se, but by the angels of the Lord.

Rev. 9:15
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

It appears that the tool used by the four angels will be war, and the number of soldiers staggers the imagination. I understand that Bush has now deployed some 110,000 troops to the Middle East, but that is a far cry from the 200,000,000 troops that the angels will use when 1/3 of the men of Israel will be killed.  (See Rev. 9:13-21.) Also, with this number of men trying to kill one another with today’s modern weapons, not to mention the weapons of mass destruction we hear so much about, then the number of Gentiles killed at this time will surely be horrendous as well.

This brings up a question. Do the different renderings of Daniel’s 70th Week, that have to do with the destruction of human life, all point to a different time/battle? Or do some of them look at the same events but from different perspectives?

As to your second question: i.e., What response should this woe elicit from the unbelieving world? We need to keep in mind the "types" of people that will be on the earth at the time. There will be the descendants of Abraham through Isaac. There will be individuals of all nations that will fear God and refuse the mark of the beasts, even at the cost of their lives. There will be nations that were founded on Judeo-Christian concepts that will seek to befriend Israel (See Mt. 25:14-30). And there will be scoffers and haters of God who will support the "beast" and the antichrist. Undoubtedly, the wise choice for everyone would be to fear God and refuse the mark of the beast; but sadly, we are told that this will not happen and that God will have to weed out of the earth’s population all that offend before He set’s up the Kingdom Age.

Have you ever wondered why the Lord put the Book of Revelation in the Bible for the Church to study? After all, the Church will be gone when the things prophesied take place. I’ve given it some thought and I’m convinced that He didn’t have the book written just to satisfy our curiosity. If the prophesy was just for the Church, then His promise to take care of everything in the future would be sufficient. Consequently, I’m satisfied that John’s Revelation has been for the lost through the ages: to help build their faith when they consider that God knows the end from the beginning. But I feel that it is especially for the lost who must go through the times prophesied. For the end-time Jews, who will be the primary targets of the "dragon" / Satan, it will be a cause for hope during the holocaust they will be experiencing. For the scoffers and the haters of Christ, it will leave them with no excuse in the day that they must give account for what they’ve done in the flesh. For those who fear God and who help Israel in its hour of need, it will be their anchor in the storm, their understanding that it will please God to befriend Israel and that there is still hope for all who refuse to deny Christ and to accept the mark of the beast . Therefore, I’m convinced that the Church has been given the Book of Revelation, not for itself, but so that it can preach the Gospel (good news) of the Kingdom to come for those I’ve just mentioned. If that is the case, then it doesn’t matter if we understand exactly what will transpire, or if we place the events in perfect position on a prophetic time line. But it does matter that we preach this Gospel of the Kingdom to the nations. Consider the following words of Jesus.

Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Thanks for WRAPPING with us. I’m glad that the Lord blessed the music to your heart. Hold us up in your prayers.

Love,

Don & B’Ann
