remembering the time in Palm City church. as well as other times remembering the songs your family sang "everybody needs Jesus" I am living in Alabama now for several years but before i came here pastored in ft. pierce fl. for 14 yrs working in Haiti on mission field building churches and having outdoor revivals seeing as many as 500 saved in a week of meetings in Bellamie Haiti building a church there now for these people

Hello Tim,

Good to hear from you again and that the LORD is still using you!  (I purposely removed the link for my Email because spammers were linking to it with their computers.  However, the address there will work.)

The family and I were visiting with evangelists David Wine and Freddy Clark and their  families just a couple of days before I received your Email.  During the course of the night, we shared with Brother Freddy how that the Lord Jesus had paralyzed the legs of the motorcycle rider who came into your church the night we were ministering, announcing that he was going to break up our meeting–beginning with me, and how that Jesus saved his soul after he spent the entire service laying at the altar in front of the pulpit.  (For the particulars of that meeting, click here and go to our 1999 JULY WRAP AROUNDS-2.)  I don't know if that had anything to do with you feeling the urge to Email us, but I do know that because of your Email, I went back to your WRAP AROUND with us in July of 1999 and discovered that I had left our regular visitors hanging concerning the "cancer" on my nose.  In that WRAP I wrote:

...one morning a couple of years back, I awoke with a growth on the right side of my noise about the size of the end of my little finger. This growth came on overnight where there had not even been a blemish. Once again I go through the routine. Devil, you're a liar and this bump that come up in a supernatural way is but one of your lies. Well, after much persuasion from my family, I finally went again to the doctors. In the process of testing my blood for this problem, they could find no evidence of lupus or arthritis, but now they say I have cancer. Again, I don't have cancer, I have Jesus!

So, for those of you that are curious as to what happened to the "cancer," let me give you a PRAISE REPORT!  The growth kept growing and stayed with me for years; until, finally, the LORD took it off!!!  Briefly, here's how it happened.

One morning, our oldest son, Samuel Jonathan, came to me and said: "Dad, I had a dream last night.  I dreamed you were in the bathroom, looking in the mirror, and there was a jar of black salve beside the sink.  While you were looking in the mirror, the "cancer" fell off your face and you caught it in your hand."  I said, "I'll receive that Jon." and I went on about my business.

Just a few days later, I received a phone call, from Barney Smith, the lead singer for the Southland Trio, a gospel group that I had played with years before.  He asked me how I was doing.  I said, "Fine."  He said, "Liar, I've been told that you've been running around with a big cancer on your nose.  (By this time the bump had grown to the size of a hen egg and was repulsive to look at, so that I had to keep it covered with band aids.)  He went on to say that in his traveling around, he had found some black salve that, if I would put it on the bump, it would take it off.  I said, "Bring it on!"  He brought a small jar of it and said that it should remove the "cancer" in a week to ten days.

Two weeks later, Barney phoned me and asked it the "cancer" was off.  I told him that it had changed into a hard, black knot; but that it was still hanging on.  He then said that I might have to "help it off."  So, I went to the bathroom, and tried to "wiggle" it off and the pain almost brought me to my knees.  I said, "Lord, if you want this off, you're going to have to help me!"–and while I was looking in the mirror, the knot fell off and I caught it in my hand!

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

It's important to Christ Jesus that we pray one for another, for the prayers of the born-again believers opens heaven's portals of blessings.  Also, the Bible would have us to pray for the lost everywhere and to pray to the Lord of the Harvest that He would send workers into the harvest.  I am putting up the following WRAPs up on the web that you might do both as the Lord leads!

It is always good to hear from you.  As I read your WRAP, it helps to confirm my belief that "You don't build big organizations so that you can bring souls to Christ; but rather, you bring souls to Christ and then the organizations will come as the LORD wills.  This is keeping with the principle that Jesus set forth to those who would follow Him

Luke 9:57-62
And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain [man] said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head.
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

In other words, just share the LOVE OF GOD which He's placed in your bosom and He will be with you to do His will.  And to all of you who are "called" to serve the LORD–remember, we are not called to do anything by our own might or will; but He has put His Spirit within us to enlighten and empower.

My Dear Precious Friend Brother Don
I am sorry I could not bring you December update on right time due to ministry visit all around the country. I do hope you had blessed year in 2008 and I pray that you would have even more blessed and fruitful year in 2009. It is really a great to

work together. I would like to thank God for giving me one more year in my life to do ministry. 2009 is year of ministry for me. In this year, I will do ministry like I did never before. I will preach the gospel of Jesus Christ from top of the world and to all the way around. If God will, I will lead 'many people from darkness to light and from power of Satan unto God'. I need your prayer and I need your support. From your prayer, comes my strength.

In December of 2008, through the empowerment of the Holy Ghost we were able to do many works and one of them was Clothes distribution. We distributed Jackets, Trousers, Sweeter, Caps, Gloves and Shoes and other items. Children were so glad, they were smiling. There were 43 Children who received but there were still other children who did not get. I guess 100 dollar should be enough to provide clothes for remaining.  We also ran Two Week Music Class for worship leaders wishing to learn more about music. There were 20 participants. Now they are teaching their member how to worship God.
We visited Mina's Church. We are glad that she is having fellowship with some of her new believers. We promised her to help start a Church for 6 months which we did. We helped paid rent for 6 months. Please pray that she would be able to continue the work.
Thank you for praying for our annual conference. Believers from all over Nepal had gather for a refreshment. Every Church gave their annual statistics. They were ministered, uplifted, and encouraged. Many went back with new commitment. Holy Spirit performed wonderful works in the conference. We also were able to give Bicycles to local evangelists and Pastors, Bibles were given to Churches for new converts, Tracts were given to believers to use in evangelism and Guitars were given to help in outreach and to some mobile phone to communicate. Thank you for your prayer and thank you for your support. I look forward to receive more prayer and support from you in 2009. We would like to plant 7 Church in 2009, if God wills.
We had two programs in Gaighat, Leadership Conference and Christmas Rally. We ministered in conference in a new Church which did not have roof. Speakers do not often travel in those areas and they were happy enough to host us. Hotel we stayed did not have enough water and we fought with mosquitoes at night. Next day was rally and it was huge. There were around 1000 children and adult in parade from 22 Churches with banners and cards about birth of Jesus. In most areas, churches and leaders do not unite for big event but in Gaighat all Christian faith people united for the events and which brought glory to God. Gospel was preached, a woman possessed with demon was released in front of huge crowd and many were ministered. We made Christmas a medium to tell university students about 'why Jesus was born'. I preached on three reasons why Jesus had to born in this world. Christmas with university Students was very much fruitful. There were around 100 who came and many of them heading towards their PHDs in foreign country. And now 4 of them is coming to the Church. Bibles were distributed to these wonderful people. Many of them were very much curious

to know about Jesus. The English Bibles were received free of charge from Christian Resource International in USA to which we are so thankful. CRI we continue to look for your Bible help in future.

16 people accepted Jesus Christ in three different places in December. Two new fellowships were started in two new places and 12 people were baptized in water in two churches. Purna, Mani, Chitra and Bikash are visiting village to village and house to house to carry out the gospel and they have requested us more gospel tracts and bibles for their evangelism.

Prayers: We have two weeks Bible School in March and conferences. Please pray that I have motorbike soon with helmet, leather jacket, gasoline, license and paper and every thing related with it. I am praying for a good Laptop for me for my personal use while traveling for ministry. Laptop would help me so much to preach and perform. 2009 is my year of ministry; I will make myself very busy in the Lord's work this year. Some time you may get update late. I do need your prayer. Please mention Bible School, motor bike and a laptop for me.

I am making a 12 minute Video presentation of our ministry and newsletter and I would like to send it to you. Please let me know your postal address if they are changed. Together we did wonderful work in 2008 in Nepal for God, now let's work together toward changing Nepal. Lets remember that the harvest is large, but there are few workers to gather it in.
