Pastor Mmah Wrote:

Good day ,

Calvary greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am Pastor Ezekiel Mmah.I am a minister of God here in Nigeria. I do go to other ministries to preach the word of God, and also crusades and conference. I was viewing through my pc and I came across your Ministry, I have read everything about the Ministry, it all sound good.
Well I will to seek your indulgence ,i.e if you could bring your minstry down to Nigeria so that we could uplift the name of God in every part of Nigeria. Nigeria is a good place where one can always serve God, despite all the evil that has been said about the country, but I assure you that is a good country, and everyone here would like to worship God with you. So thats why I will really want you to bring your Ministry down to Nigeria, and not even Nigeria alone you can as well take have other branches in any part of Africa. I think I should stop here for now, as I will wait to get a reply from you.
Thanks.

Hello:

It is so good to hear from you.  I notice that you say that you can "always serve God" in your country.  Remember, prayer cannot be stopped!!!  Jesus taught us to enter into a private place to pray.  In fact this is what he did!

Mark 1:35
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Not only was He our example in prayer but He was trying to teach us how and when to pray.  There is a reason for this.  I am a school teacher and my students mentioned that we can no longer pray in school.  I shared that we can pray anytime we want.  Since the Kingdom of God is in a mystery, there is no way that an outside source (Satan or otherwise) can know when we are praying silently.

Romans 16:25
Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.

I further shared that prayer was never intended to be seen of man. We get into trouble when we do not "rightly divide" the Word of Truth.

Mat 6:1
Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mat 23:5
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments.

Matthew 6:6:
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Having said all that, let me finish this thought.  We should have our praying done before we go out because when we are out working for Jesus, it is a very busy time. What do we do when we walk among men??? .  We need tell about Jesus, pass out tracks, share our testimony of salvation...this is why I suggested the tracks.  When we go out into the streets it might be the only time we ever come into contact with a certain person. Some of them might throw the pamphlets (tracks) away, but others will take time to read them.  If we can ever get John 3:16 into their thoughts, then the Bible declares that the Word will not return unto Him void.

Isa 55:11
So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.

Sometime in their lives, before they die, they will have to deal with this Scripture.  That is why it is important to keep the first message simple and to the point.  John 3:16 give a clear, concise purpose for Jesus' death on the cross. We do not need to complicate the "Seed" that brings people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. It might be good to have one theme song that you always use when witnessing.  Then, when people hear that song again, they will associate it with the time they encountered the Power of Jesus.   And they will associate it with your congregation, which hopefully the will join.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!

Hi Don,

I bring you June update of 2008 ministries that are happening in Nepal. I am glad just as you as I bring you June ministry report.
First of all I would like to say thank you for praying for our ministries activities throughout June. We continue to pray for you that you will have the increase in every area of your life and ministry. It is a great to be a partner with you. Because of your prayer and support many people's lives are being changed. All glory to God.
We were able to print 10000 tracts again in June. The name of the tracts is called in a land where we never grow old. This is second printing and it is in blue color and looks more attractive then previous one. I would like to print another 10000 tracts if I have the fund it is called I was dead but I live again: read my story. I am preparing yet another tract in Nepali and it will look like: SMALL DECISION YET IT LEADS YOU TO HEAVEN. This tract preaches the gospel and tells about receiving Jesus in its very simplest way.
Good news of the month is that we started a new Church in Budanilkantha in north side of Kathmandu, near the mountain. This is our 13nth Church. Leader's name is Lok. Please pray for encouragement to him and the new believers there.
DB Rai is constructing Church wall now please pray for sufficient resources to complete. He also has open air gospel programs in several places. Pray that many people would hear the gospel.
K S Rai is looking for a house to start a Church in Town called Damak in east Nepal. We have been praying for this strategic town to plant a new Church. Please remember this.
Purna Kumar is up in the mountain for house Churches for encouragements and teaching and preaching, please continue to pray for more fruits there. There are some new souls saved but they are facing challenges. Yet they remain strong in the Lord. We are planning to start a Church there too.
Bharat our student this year in Bible School just concluded football tournament. It was a huge challenge to organize a game in such a place. We are happy they did it. I will share some more exciting reports when I have photos.
Our club is still in registration process. When we do that we will have Library, sports academy, social work and legal right to exercise and organize events. Continue to pray for this.
I remember you a lot and ask God to bless in you every area of your life and walk with God. Thank you for being an encouragement to me.
I am taking Church Boys United to Pokhara in west Nepal to participate in soccer tournament. Our plan is to meet young people for Christ and explore possibilities of expanding God's work in west Nepal too.
Thank you and God bless you.

Hello:

What a beautiful picture. I was speaking at a ladies group about a month ago and I asked if they knew when the angels had a celebration (party)??? They looked at me strangely, and...only one person knew.

Luke 15:10
Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

It might have seemed quiet and rather calm as you baptized this young person, but it was very noisy in heaven.

Let me caution you about new converts that are baptized. They need someone to help them memorize the Scriptures for this is how we withstand evil, how we grow as a Christian and how we become fruitful workers for the Cause of Christ. The only way that we can transform our thinking is by "hiding the Word in our heart."

1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

If we do not get the Scriptures (Milk of the Word) into our memories, we will not grow in the Lord; and if we are to please our Savior, we must grow into young men and women that are able to take the battle to the enemy of our souls.  The milk of the Word we must have, but if we have only the milk of the Word, we will not be able to stand against the "wiles of the devil."

Hebrews 5:13
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

However, if as pastors we can help the new converts to continue studying the Word of God, then we all have this promise.

II Timothy 2:
15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

I cannot stress how important it is for the new converts--and the church--that they give themselves to a dedicated study of the Word, otherwise...

Hebrews 5:12
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

1 Corinthians 3:
1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
3For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

A person that is ready for "strong meat" is described in this passage:

Hebrews 5:
1For every high priest taken from among men (ministers) is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
2Who can have compassion on the ignorant (those who do not know about Christ), and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
3And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
4And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron... (Exodus 8)

13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

These who can handle strong meat are they who have pressed into the Word and are ready for Spiritual warfare for they have put on the whole armor of God and are able to wield the Sword of the Spirit.

Ephesians 6:

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

It is imperative that your new Christians have some type of Bible memorization.  Don't forget to give them a Scripture assignment for every day! We often would have what we called "Sword Drills" in our regular morning service.  The children (new converts) would come forth with their Bibles, the preacher/teacher would say "Draw Swords."  This meant that the Bible was held in their hands ready to be opened.  Then the Scripture would be given, they would quickly search in their Bible, and the first to find the named Scripture would step forward.  Then that person would read the Scripture and they would continue on with the drill for about ten more minutes.  This was a fast and simple fun exercise, but very effective.  There would be an award for the weekly winner and then a winner of the month.  This can be as simple as posting their names/pictures on a bulletin board.

I am making a CD of the pictures you sent and sharing it with the ladies group I mentioned.  Most of our churches have the LCD projector that shows these on a big screen or on the wall. I am so excited about what you are doing. May Jesus have all the praise and glory.

Thanks for WRAPPING with us.
