PASTOR RAO WROTE:

Question-Comment:

Dear Beloved Pastor Don,

Greetings to you in his most trusted name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ!

I am pleased to introduce to you as Pastor. B. Sanjeeva Rao, serving the lord for the last 20 years in coastal area of Andhra Pradesh state  (S. India) in Kotipalli and its surrounding villages and I have been ministering in 10 churches with 10 co-pastors who are young, anointed and dedicated to the service of God.

God made a miracle in my life when I came to see your website, I was light hearted to note the activities of your ministry that touched my heart greatly.

Ours is an independent ministry serving the lord with utmost faith only and there is no help and support from within abroad.

You are well aware the dreadful tsunami that hit coastal belt in 2004 during which time some of our church members reached the heavenly abode leaving their children Orphans. Keeping in view of the misery, we have taken in adoption 20 tsunami Orphan children according to James 1:27 and providing food, clothing, education and all accommodation at free of cost.

Part of our work we visit villages, knock door-to-door, distribute pamphlets, tracts and bible material, pray for the sick and needy and conduct rural village Gospel meetings, win their souls and leading them to the kingdom of God.

I was encouraged after having gone through your Id, website and decided to work with your ministry and in your fellowship.

On my behalf, on behalf of our co-pastors, church elders, Orphan children, widows and saints, I inviting you to visit India in the year 2008 to minister with us as we are much interested to see you in person, to have you in our midst and conduct crusade meetings, pastors’ seminar and village Outreach ministry and to win many a perishing souls to add to his kingdom and request you to join in prayer with us.

We were all praying for you daily in our personal, family and church prayers and request you to continue to pray for us, for our ministry and for our invitation to you to visit India to ministry with us in 2008.

I look forward to hearing from you very soon

Yours in Christ Jesus,

Pastor B Sanjeeva Rao.

B'ANN WROTE:

We are honored that you would want us to come to India; however, we believe that the Holy Spirit can give you a great harvest of souls without our being there. Our presence would stir excitement for a brief time, but Christ needs workers that have been born and raised in the field with the people and will be there faithfully. We firmly believe that this Scripture calls out to us.

John 4:35 (To be read in context, the whole chapter should be read.)
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Luke 10:2
Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

You must go to work and trust God to send you more help.  They need to come from your own community, your own country, so that there will be no barrier, such as language or distance, to slow down the work. You do not have time to wait for us, or any other ministry from the United States to make preparations for a trip..  The harvest needs to be done consistently everyday.  I would impress upon you the urgent need to press into your own calling and not look to some distant ministry to arrive.  God has called you, He has gifted you with mighty power, ordained you for this particular hour and people; so, be busy about soul winning, not waiting for someone else to arrive. Think of it as harvesting your crops.  When they are ready to be gathered, you cannot wait for someone else to come or your food would waste in the fields.  You have to try to harvest as much as you can and as quickly as possible so that none of it is wasted.  I would remind you of these two powerful Scriptures:

John 3:16:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:15
And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

How strange that "feet" are mentioned in this Scripture.  I had a Sister from Pakistan that wrote about needing money so she could go out and witness.  I wrote back that God had given her feet and a voice to declare the Scriptures and for singing glad tidings... and she needed to use these.  She sent back pictures of their group walking through the streets sharing Jesus with other. We do not have time to waste with the doctrines of men, fund raising, constructing buildings, and the like.  We must get busy and give the simple message of Salvation and let it do its work.  It is the Seed that starts a Christian's growth and John 3:16  is not expensive to carry.  We do not need television cameras or television productions to declare it. It can be shared anywhere, by passing out tracts, by organizing home meetings...the places a person can witness are numerous.  If you do not have time to talk  then leave a gospel tract for someone to read.  One of our favorite places is in restaurants.  It is customary in the U.S. to leave the waitress a tip, or money, after we have eaten.  We would leave the money with a gospel tract beneath it.

Don't wait for  us to arrive.  Don't wait for anyone to arrive.  The Holy Spirit has already arrived when he called you to preach. I do hope this is not a strange message coming from the U.S. where it appears that we are a nation of mega-ministries that are wealthy.  The true work for Christ had never changed.  Christ said, "Go ye...into all the world!" and that starts first in our homes, then out to our neighbors, then to the surrounding area.  If we will faithfully do the work in our own area of commitment, then he says he will bid us to go further. There is an old saying, "Bloom where you are planted."  It is our prayer that you will start a mighty harvest from among those around you.  Finances will come as you add souls to the kingdom.

(MY THOUGHTS SHALL BE HIGHLIGHTED IN YELLOW.)

It is sad that our nation, the United States of America, has to be reminded of such a strong truth.  We should be living it in our churches and homes; however, we have been caught up in materialism.  Most churches feel that they need a big mega-ministry to be effective, television cameras rolling, aesthetically appealing stage productions to reach people for Christ.  The simple acts of prayer, personal witnessing, basic principles of Christianity have been replaced by sensationalism.  We need to get back to the simplicity of Jesus.  Prayer is where it all starts and ends.

II Chronicles 7:14 (To be read in context, the whole chapter should be read.)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Then we need to move very quickly into these aspects of God's great calling.

Here in this Scripture, glad tidings and feet are mentioned.  We need to get into the Upper Room of prayer, receive power from on high and then burst out into the streets witnessing.  This is what makes people marvel.

Acts 2:
1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5
And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7
And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10
Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11
Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12
And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15
For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19
And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
21
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22
Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24
Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25
For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26
Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27
Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
28
Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.
29
Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
32
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,
35
Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
36
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
40
And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Many thanks

Dear World,

I am a 16 year old person living in Zimbabwe . I think the time has come for a more direct
appeal, and so I am writing to you, the world.

Maybe, just maybe, there might be someone out there who can help us...

It's tough here now. The inflation rate is so high that if you don't change money within 6 hours you could get half the amount of foreign currency that you would have originally received.

We're starving now; people die around us. In the last year alone at least ten people associated personally with my family have died despite the fact that they were only middle-aged. Other people don't make it to middle age. They don't even make it past childhood.

Our once-proud nation is on it's knees. We flee or die. This beautiful, bountiful once-rich land has become a living hell. We have dealt with it until now; we have made a plan. That was the Zimbabwean motto: "MAKE A PLAN".

But now we can't make a plan. We're too tired, too broken, too bankrupt. We can't afford life, and life does not cost much, not really. We cannot afford to eat, we cannot afford to drink, and we cannot afford to make mistakes, because if we do we die. We don't have the capital to support ourselves, and those few who do, have to deal with the horror of watching their friends and family fall into absolute poverty as they cannot afford to help them.

We're waiting desperately for a great hand to pick us up out of the dirt because at the moment we are outnumbered by Fate herself, and so we close our eyes and pray. We have fought for too long, and have been brought to breaking point. We simply stand, heads down, and bear it. Our spirit has gone; we are defeated. After a valiant struggle of over fifteen years, we have been broken.

There is no will left, no spirit. Like a horse that has been beaten until it cannot fight anymore; we are the same, and, like that horse, we stand dusty, scarred and alone, with dried blood on our sides and lash marks along our flanks. Our ribs too stand out; our hide is also dull.
Our eyes are glazed, our throats are parched, and our knees struggle to support us so that we stand with splayed legs to bear the brunt of the next beating, too dejected even to whimper...

This is my plea. The thought of picking ourselves up again is sickening; one can only take so many blows before oblivion is reached, and we are teetering on the rim of the bottomless void. One more push will be the end of us all...
There must be someone out there who can do something. There must be someone out there who cares! We are a destroyed nation, and the world sits back and watches, pretending they cannot hear our cries. I appeal to you all...

HELP US!
A 16 YEAR OLD ZIMBABWEAN......

May we all learn from this young lady's message. There is no amount of money that can break the stronghold of oppressive governments over a land.  (This dilemma is fast advancing into the United States of America, as well.)  Perhaps the Scriptures I am sending  sound  like another cliché, but it does seem that after we have tried everything else, then we turn to Jesus. Yet, He does declare this of Himself:

John 8:12 (To be read in context, the whole chapter should be read.)
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
