HENRY WROTE:
Subject: who are you? please tell me what church you are from. The USA was the world super power. I think now it could be china. what if a pope follower became president of the USA. sorry just happy to
see god is hard at work somewhere in the world. B'ANN WROTE: We do not advocate any one denomination. We have met true believers in every denomination that we have attended. We have also met a faction that does not welcome people with open arms. I found that there was "no room at the inn" in many of them even though many of the pews were empty. This is what denominations can do. Instead of embracing visitors to their churches, they often feel threatened. Some are afraid that new people will want their piano playing job, their Bible teaching position, their spot on the flower arrangement committee, or maybe as choir leader or vocalist. We pastored one church where a big organ was more sacred than anything else. An elderly member, who was deceased, had worked diligently selling used clothing until there was enough money to buy the organ. One of the pedals was hung on the C note. No matter what key the song would be in, the stuck pedal would whine the C note throughout the songs. When we attempted to send it out for repairs, we were met with great hostility. To my knowledge, that organ still sits there, some twenty-five years later, and whines the C note. Her daughter was wealthy and had enough influence to stop us from repairing it. I often marveled why she did not have it repaired in her mother's memory. Needless to say, this put us on the "unwanted" list. There always seems to be something in a denomination that keeps the "unwanted" element out...whatever that is. The criteria for getting on their "unwanted list" can be as varied as the group themselves. There is no excuse for the bickering and dissention among denominations. The only excuse we have for calling ourselves a church is to come together to Love Jesus and witness to others. The witness should be John 3:16, and this should in turn should bring new converts into the Body of Christ. We need to COMPEL not REPEL. DON WROTE: Hello Henry, I'll take a stab at answering your questions. As to where the U.S. fits into end time--just recently, because of the behind the scenes NAFTA agreements, some would say that there will be no U.S., but the North American Union, or such. I still feel that the U.S. has a part to play. Throughout the Bible, animals and birds are often used to represent nations; and to me, the U.S. will be the great eagle of Revelations 12:14. You ask, "is the pope going to get what is long past due." If you've read much of our site, you know that we feel Catholicism to be one of the "religions" that has helped put our world into spiritual darkness. (Consider, baby Jesus did grow up and die for the sins of the world; and mother Mary did receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost in the upper room--just like all the other believers! [Acts 1:8-2:18]) This is not to say that all members of the Catholic Church are in darkness, for anyone who has reached out for the grace that God extended to the world at Calvary has found it.
But we do contend that the Catholic Church is only one of many large religious organizations that have been created by man and are, for the most part, run by man for man. (Consider how the Protestant Church has fragmented into many large denominations.) However, as to the pope, or anyone, getting "what is long past due"; that, thank God, is God's business. I don't know about you, but I'm thankful that I will not get "all" that I deserve. If Jesus had not taken my sin upon Himself at Calvary so that I might have His Righteousness imputed to me, I know that I would not be a born-again child of God with a living hope of living forever with Jesus--and beholding His glory alongside the rest of the Church who have this hope living inside of them. Also, you set forth your opinion that China has surpassed the U.S. as a world super power. If we can believe what we are fed by the media, that is surely China's goal. Sadly, if they make that goal, it will be because of "sold-out" politician and greedy entrepreneurs who seem to be in a race to give foreign entities the know-how and wealth inherited from our fathers and forefathers. Could this be part of the "judgment" that Americans have brought upon themselves? Finally, you ask, "What if a pope follower became president of the USA?" Think back. I don't know your age, but it wasn't that long ago that John F. Kennedy sat in the Whitehouse. You said that you don't know what to think. Well, consider this:
We can think on God and His Only Begotten Son loving us with the Love of the Cross. We can think on God wanting to live in us and helping us to be more than overcomers in this life. We can think on the family and friends that the Lord has given us to love. We can think on the fact that God wants us to work with Him as He reaches out to men. As Americans, we have had so many blessings to "think on" that we could not count them all! Hopefully, the believers in America will "wake up" and return to the God of our Fathers lest we see more and more of the blessings disappear.

To our Cyber visitors:
As we explained in our last page of
WRAP AROUNDS, it has been a while since we've answered any WRAPs; but
many of you continued sending your WRAPs anyway--which we are now in the
process of answering. We have received several WRAPs from local
ministries in Africa, India, Pakistan, and the Philippines--countries that
the Lord Jesus has especially given us to uphold in prayer. We do want
our visitors to pray for these ministries; so, we are listing them by
country so that you may do so.

We are running a ministry “God
Rays Ministry”. We are running this ministry in Pakistan. We are
working in poor Christian. We go in different areas to teach and preach
the people. We go in those areas and teach those people who don’t know
about the Bible. This is our motto to “teach and preach” the God’s
People.
Everybody knows that Pakistan is a
third world country. There are many Churches in Pakistan. But the people
don’t go in the churches. All the day they work for their families to feed
them. Therefore they have no time for going church. Therefore we go in
different areas to preaching the people. The Pakistani Christian community
is forgetting very fast about the God. Everybody knows that God is creator
of every thing we should praise him not forget him. We are trying our best
to teach those people who are far from God...
We are also working for the children. We are working for school going children and non- school going children. Mostly Christian children don’t go in the school because their parents can’t afford their school fee. Muslim children go in the school they get higher education because their parents can afford their school fee because they are rich. We are working in children by the Sunday school. We are trying our best; because we should learn them in their childhood that God is every, we should Praise him not forget him... God works in our hearts and we know that he helps us therefore we are serving the God. We know after reading this mail you will work with us and if you will work with us God will bless you. We know God will touch your heart to help the Pakistani Christian community. If you will help them by us God will bless you and give you more blessing.
God Bless You,
