KARSTEN WROTE:

I would like to share my web site with you :

Karsten ______

DON WROTE:

Hello Karsten,

I visited your web site and enjoyed the Scriptures and your comments about "hope."  However, your "charts" were very confusing, leaving one with no real sense of the chronology of things.  If you'll read our on-line book THE CLOCK OF THE AGES, you'll see that we deal with the problems that most students of prophecy run into when trying to chart out the things of prophecy.

Maranatha,

Don

BRO SYLVESTER WROTE:

I am a student of end-time prophecies and will be glad if you can send me some material on the above
subject on a regular basis.

Thanks and God bless you.

Elder Sylvester _______

DON WROTE:

Thanks for taking the time to WRAP with us.  We are in deep pray for your people in Nigeria and in all of Africa.  Now we have a name to add to our prayers.  Jesus commanded His disciples to pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send workers into the Harvest.  You are there and we will ask God to use you to put feet to our prayers.  We also entreat all of our visitors to hold "Sylvester" up in prayer when they are praying for the needy people of your country.

As to your request, the material on our web site is purposed to lay a foundation for the study of Biblical Prophecy.  If you haven't done a complete study of our material, you will find several weeks worth of thoughtful study on our site.  We have not chosen to mail out any additional material for a couple of reasons.

  1. We believe that we already have the basics of prophecy up on the web so that those who are led by the Spirit in their studies can go on into whatever depths the Lord determines.
  2. The following introduction comes from our on-line study of the Book of Revelation.

"You will see our love for the prophetic Word as you get on into our web site; nevertheless, let me admonish you to put prophecy in its proper place. If you are fairly new to the Bible, then prophecy, for the most part, should be put on the back burner until you are familiar with the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), the Book of Acts, and the epistles of the New Testament. These are the sincere milk of the Word that we are commanded to study so that we might grow in the Lord. In the Gospels and the epistles you will find a prophetic Word to the Church, the most thorough being our Lord’s teachings in Matthew 24 and 25. (Our book on this site entitled THE CLOCK OF THE AGES is a study of that teaching.) It’s important that we all keep in mind that the contents of the book of REVELATION, the last book in the Bible, is for the world universal and Israel in particular--and that for the most part, the things prophesied in that book will not come to pass until the Church has been removed to be with the Lord. The Church does have the responsibility to see that the Word in REVELATION is delivered to the world, but its primary responsibility is to feed upon the Word of God, to grow in grace and truth, and to share the love of God with the world. If we will fulfill this responsibility, we will not be suckered in by the alarmists shouting "the sky is falling," and we will be ready for the things coming down the pike for the Church in the days ahead. Remember, the Church is not to be saying, "Woe is me!"—but "Maranatha"—i.e., "Come quickly, Lord Jesus."

We praise the Lord Jesus for leading you to our site, and the pray that He will continue to lead you in the paths that HE chooses.

Maranatha,

Don

To our cyber-visitors:

We want to share with you one of the "forwarding E-mails" that is making the rounds.

This is cool....think about it!

A boy was sitting in a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible.

He was loudly exclaiming his praise to God. "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great!" he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not.

Shortly after, along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local University. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his Joy.

"Hey" asked the boy in return with a bright laugh, "Don't you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle."

The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy and began to try to open his eyes to the "realities" of the miracles of the Bible.

"That can all be very easily explained. Modern scholarship has shown that the Red Sea in that area was only 10 inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across."

The boy was stumped. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible lying open in his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened a poor naive young person to the finer points of scientific insight, turned to leave.

Scarcely had he taken two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before. The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.

"Wow!" Exclaimed the boy happily, "God is greater than I thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in 10 inches of water!"
